I'm honestly tempted to use two characters, one is just joining with yours and the other is a teacher or something? because there are multiple things I wanna do with this RP. xD
Also, is this some kinda AU of sorts, are these people in the time of Harry's first year, are they before Harry was around (could be interesting) or post-Deathly Hallows? Because I haven't finished reading that yet.

Isabelle was reading a book, leaning against the wall in a corridor outside the Charms classroom.

:Eventually, the sorting hat called her name. She nervously walked forward, as she felt the hat rest on her head. In the audience, she noticed Isabelle:

Isabelle looked up briefly. She never really watched the sorting ceremonies.

"GRYFFINDOR!!" :the hat yowled, happily waiting for the next student. Nevaeh went back to her seat sadly. Her family would be dissapointed- They were all slytherins:
"Wh-what will they do to me when I get home for the Summer?!" :Nevaeh thought. Her parents had abused her multiple times, and she had been frightened of them ever since:

Izzy went back to sit at her own seat, opening her book again.

:Nevaeh just looked sad, not meeting anyone's eyes as th sorting hat went through each new student.

Lotus twitched. She needed to stretch her legs. Saying a hurried 'see you later' to the two on either side of her, she got up and hurried out of the Great Hall.

:Nevaeh just looked away: "I was suppose to be a slytherin. If I go home... Oh, I'm not thzt concerned... Don't worry about it- Really!"

Izzy sighed. "Slytherin? You don't want to be in there. Gryffindor's much better, trust me." She glanced darkly at the Slytherin table.

Once out in the halls, Lotus slowed down and walked casually along.

"The opposite of wha- Ohh, are your family all Slytherins?" Izzy realised. "If they judge you for being different, you shouldn't listen to them. It's fine to be yourself." she gave Neveah a reassuring (sp?) smile.

"But... Erg, it's hard to explain... Haha, thank you, though...."

"No problem," Izzy winked, then went back to her book.

:Nevaeh stared at the large common room in shock: "I-it's so big- This isn't what my mother said it would look like.. She said theyre were snake-like banners, and the room looked like it was made from stone!! Ooh, it even has a fireplace!"

Izzy had followed Neveah to the common room. "Well, all the common rooms are different - only Slytherin has snake banners and stuff." She walked over to the chairs by the fireplace and sat down. "Pretty comfortable, huh?"

Lotus was out in the grounds, taking an evening walk, when she heard footsteps behind her. "Who's there?" She asked quickly, turning around.

:Nevaeh kneelee by the fireplace:
"Yeah!! It's really warm and nice...."

"Yup..." Izzy agreed, a little sleepily. "By the way, do you have a pet? When I got mine, I couldn't decide between a cat and and owl. I got an owl in the end, since they're more useful."

Lotus looked around, perplexed. Maybe someone was following her with an Invisibility Cloak? Yes, a cloak, that had to be it.

"Oh.. Um.."
:a small black cat poked its head from her book bag:
"His name is Midnight."

"Awww, he's cute!" Izzy petted Midnight's head. Then she looked up and whistled, and a moment later a small brown owl soared in and landed on her arm. "Here's my buddy, his name's Pepper."

"Show yourself," Lotus comanded, slipping a hand into her pocket and gripping her wand.
Nothing moved for a second, then somebody seemed to materialise out of thin air in front of her as they threw back and invisibility cloak.

Lotus backed away quickly, staring wide-eyed.
This person was, to be honest, a little frightening.
Taller than Lotus, viciously scarred with one eye that was electric blue and seemed to be moving independently from the other.
"...Professor Lotus, I suppose?" He spoke, and Lotus nearly flinched away at the growl in his voice. "U-um. Yes, sir," she replied. "And you are...?"

"She's also the family owl, and my parents... They didn't exactly trust me, with her- She's sweet and kind, but I guessed I didn't need to send letters, anyways.. I do hope she's okay at home." :Neveah explained, shrugging and taking her hand away from Pepper to pet Midnight and calm him down:

"Alastor Moody, Auror and friend of Professor Dumbledore." The man replied. "Sorry about the Cloak, though you looked strange walking out here in the dark by yourself."
Lotus thought. "I've heard of you, you've caught /loads/ of dark wizards and witches. Nice to finally meet you!"
The two shook hands, with Moody looking a little doubtful.

"Oh, my parents would kill me!! I'm supposed to be in bed by 8:00!" :and with that, she nodded and headed to her dorm, carrying her cat into her dorm. She then found her belongings already there, and she called out, "Wingardium Leviosa!" she was able to carry a few belongings to their places:
