Look, I actually took some time on the shading, unlike what I usually do.
A little (or big...) tip on shading: Shadows on something are darkest where they meet light. Avoid shading in a gradient where it goes from light to dark - it won't look right.

lol This is like...the most time I've spent refining the shafing on somethinn in z long while. Most of my stuff (even ghe "pretty" looking things) doesn.t have a wholr lot of time spent on the shading.
Though I initially hated this intensely (had a ton of trouble getting the colors I envisioned it with and regretted doing the lineart) after I got everything falling into place this started to not-look-horribke to me. I actually like it a fair bit.

i really love the effects on this
it pleases my aesthetic
your shading tip is really helpful, however, it seems unlikely that it's applied on every thing
some objects or lighting method has a product of smooth shading
your tip is something i never discovered from my observations in reference pictures and will surely be a help to me
