Bio: The highest of status in her clan, Koizumi was unbeatable when it came to sparring and outwitting her comrades. Having been neglected the same training as an apprentice that her clan mates had, she was forced to train herself by watching, mimicking, and designing her own attacks in order to get a leg up. Having done so, she was able to predict every movement her opponent would make. Such skill was her undoing as, when one of the apprentices grew angry at being bested, he attempted to poison her. Having caught on quickly enough, the poison wasn't enough to be fatal, though the sight in her left eye was drastically reduced. The culprit was banished from the clan, but the damage couldn't be undone. For once, she was being caught off guard by attacks and left vulnerable on her left side, leaving to the scar that ran along her neck and, more visibly, her cheek. Learning to rely on her other senses, her eyesight went mostly unused, leaving it to degrade to a blur. Such developments left the clan warry, beginning to believe that the other clans might think them weak for harboring Koizumi. At the age of 29, young as it may be, the clan banished her.
