Hm, if you want to do something, maybe you could do character adopts or design trades since as you're very good at designing things? Just a random idea.

Also, I noticed the thing about you having trouble with shading in your profile desc. <_>
What about it troubles you? I might be able to give some tips since shading is my thing. lol
In my experience, three big things with shading are:
The setting (this affects determines the colors of everything and thus colors of light and shadow. #colortheory is /very/ important)
The lightsource(s) and where it/they are.
What you're drawing and its position in relation to the lightsource(s).
You seem to do fine with the lightsource positions and such, like in this pic it's clear the lightsource is off on the right.
