@Shadow: About your question of the roleplay worlds, anything fantasy is good. XD But for particular settings, maybe something that's not overused (i.e. forests - what roleplay does not start out or last the majority of time in a forest? XD). Biomes like grasslands, deserts, caves, and archipelagos, or castles and kingdoms.

I'm OK with any of those settings. Modern fantasy might be kinda cool as well, or even something not fantasy at all... although I have no idea how that would work, since as most of everyones' characters are fantasy creatures. XD

I feel non-fantasy is a little too restricting because you have to be mindful of the limits of physical possibleness. I know from being a member of SKeys that necessary things like food and rest are easily forgotten, and we aren't willing to give our characters time to heal from injury because of how slow the days go by.

I've got a couple modern (well, more futuristic) characters that would work in a modern fantasy, all of which I've been wanting to use in a roleplay.

I haven't done many non-fantasy RPs, but I think they could be an interesting challenge. Though I agree fantasy settings work better with the characters we all use.

I have tried non-fantasy rp's but I find them boring after a while hahha

Heh, I've done many types of rps. Some good, some bad.. The most oddly interesting ones were a transformer themed one, and one in the real world with a mix of a little bit of everything and a lot of teasing toward two of the characters for a long time. XD

Those are very interesting options I'll probably make up a couple different worlds

I don't know I think it might be just because that was my only way of entertaining myself a lot of the time is growing up, I couldn't read or write we didn't have a TV all the time where our TV was very old, I didn't have a whole lot of friends or the people I played with was just my cousins and siblings and we all kind of had imaginations and build stuff out of cardboard and just played, but a lot of time my mom would give me some paper and pencil to keep me quiet and still when I was little, so o draw and made my own story and worlds and remember them and keep building on to them the older I got,

Boy though I was making a star scale with that boy 'xD

Told me that if you swear you have no respect for yourself or anyone else. I think it's a load of bull, I respect people and myself and I swear a lot. Not in every sentence or anything, but fairly often.

I respect my elders, coworkers and customers when I'm working, the only time I don't respect someone is if they've done something to break that respect. I find it hella rude to tell me I have no respect for anyone or thing because I swear.

What's your guys' opinions? (Needed to say something it was eating away at me all night)

I saw that conversation too (cause I'm a stalker) and I thought it was pretty stupid. I get that some people don't like swearing, and that's fine if you personally aren't comfortable with it. But calling other people stupid or ignorant because they choose to do it? They're the disrespectful one, not you or anyone else who swears.
I don't do it THAT much, but I'm completely fine with it and I think most people on here are.

I just had a super ironic moment in Bloodborne, I made my character based off Weaver, and I was just invaded by a player named "Terra." It seems like no matter where Weaver goes, he's doomed to kill Terra... even if the "Terra" in Bloodborne was a girl X'D

I'll admit, I don't like hearing or reading swear words, but I don't think you're disrespectful if you use that kind of language. I'm not angry at anyone who talks like that, if anything I'm afraid, one of my biggest fears is me doing or saying something that makes my friends mad at me, and since I've already done that by just stating an opinion of mine, I've been too afraid to even mention how I feel about swearing, because I'm a wimp and I know it.

If something makes you uncomfortable you should let others know, so they can tone it down, like how @Fading said she's uncomfortable with gore and violence. It allowed me and @Shadow to tone ourselves down, so it was more comfortable for her to RP.

I can tone my swearing down if it makes RP's and conversations more comfortable for you, you are my friend after all and I want you to have a good time.

Most of the time when I'm swearing in real life it's out of frustration (usually with work/school) or when I'm having a good time.

(Lilly) Like I said up there, it's OK to not enjoy using or hearing swears, not everyone does. And it's OK to ask your friends to tone it down a little, as Blood just said. As long as you're not attacking or disrespecting other people just because they swear (which is basically what this other person was doing) then I don't have any problem with your opinion of it.

Thanks, I will, I'm just frustrated at myself cuz I haven't been in a mood like this in a while and I just need to kick myself in the butt and get over it.

Maybe, I am stressing over them, but it's other things to in my life, it's just been a weird day, and I'm been having a pity party.

Sometimes it helps to talk about it, or just talk to friends. I've been getting those emotions more recently, and when I try too hard to hide it, it only gets worse. I'll be around for the rest of the evening, so if you need to chat then I'm here. ^-^

In other cases, you just need a good night's sleep, but I get that it's hard to rest when you're feeling uncomfortable. Whatever it takes to make you feel better!

I guess one of my biggest worry is getting a job, my brother keep getting on my cache out it, and that I spend to much time drawing (though he would not complain as much if it was video games I was speeding my time doing)

Oh yeah, I can see why that'd be worrying you. I feel sick whenever I consider getting a job, as it means giving up drawing to make time. But remember that you're never alone - even when things seem crazy and dangerous, there's always a way out! ;) I don't think you need to be so anxious, as worrying will get you nowhere.

I know, that why I'm a little frustrated with myself because I know better, thank you for listening though it was nice to talk to someone about it. I'll be OK :)

I sortof get where you're coming from Shadow, my mom is constantly on my ass about getting a job, I've had a few interviews, but it can be stressful maintaining work and art. I know when I was working I'd upload a lot less, it was 1 painting every 2-3 weeks I was so busy and tired after work. I didn't have time for RP's or hanging with friends.

Yeah, that's a stress. Sometimes it depends on what job you get though.

I was working two jobs,
1 at McDonalds for an 8 hour shift, then I'd take a 45 minute bus ride to my second job and work 4 hours. After that it was 30-40 minutes waiting for the bus, taking a 30 minute bus ride home and passing out.

Wow, how did you survive that? O_o It must be nice to not be doing that now, at least until you get another job.

Well it made for a nice paycheck x'D

I barely survived it, it only last 2 weeks before I quit the 4 hour job and stuck with the full time one, but I quit that too in 2015 and haven't been able to hold a job since.

My last job was KFC where they fired me for my Disability after only working there about 5 days. They said I was "too nervous and shaky" and let me go. I'm still salty about that, they hired me knowing I'm disabled.

Yeah that's not good, nowhere near enough to get by, you should look for a job in a pet store or as a stocker. They're simple jobs you don't have to think much about doing

Oh I'm thinking of changing the Dreamer life spans to 1000 or even below 500, in my own world I never had to think about others species other then my own, I always wanted them to have a long life spans then humans though, oh hmmm I have to think about it some more Because of Skey time line

I think that is ultimately up to you, but I doubt many of our characters will live a thousand years, so you might not want him to live //too//long or he'll be crushed at the end of his life from outliving all his friends.

Also, if every Dreamer lived that long but didn't die often, they would overpopulate the land. If you want to take it from an ecosystemic perspective. UoU

Yaeh, it's something I need to think about more, most of my species live over 500 to a couple 1000, so I never thought about it much.

Dreamer usually only have about 4 or so kids, in their life spans.

I try to take things like that from a realistic perspective, but of course since it's a fantasy world, you can do whatever you want and still get away with it. ;)

I'll be gone from around 3:30 to 8:30 EST, so I'll probably miss the first five hours of the session. Hopefully it will still be night-time at Howaito when I return, but if not then I can try to work things out for myself.

Well I originally was gonna have Hiiro live like 10,000 years or something, but I changed it to 1500 years.

Yeah with Fantasy it's pretty much whatever you feel, I try and make mine somewhat realistic. With my Zeharu who live about 5,000, I made their story that they were hunted down to near extinction and before humans they were competitive, aggressive creatures, fighting and killing each other to prove dominance.

They still are, but Raven exists for that reason, he made the laws they follow so they don't slaughter each other. Especially since their numbers have dwindled.

I personally like fantasy stuff to be unrealistic (within certain boundaries). It's refreshing to not have to stick with the rules of 'realism' or 'real life'. And when I draw or write, I enjoy being able to escape to my silly little fantasy world where I'm not restricted by anything and can do what I want.
That being said, I don't like it when things make no sense whatsoever. XD

Ooh, that's some really neat species development, and definitely realistic. You seem pretty good at coming up with precise details like that, with your Zeharu and your quill butts.

I like to have a mixture of fantasy and realism, but like Radiant I favor fantasy because of that reason,

I have over hall my dreamer species a lot for SKey, one of the reason why they can have so many forms is because outside the land dreams they never show their true form to others (or very rarely did) they were a creature of myth and Legend to others outside of their home world, (this obviously did not happen in Skey) they did this because of the Nightmares that plague the other realms. (
Nightmare are still the same though.)

@Radiant: Yeah, that's what's nice about fantasy worlds. I still like a good about of realism and physics included though. Magic is borderline unrealistic for me, unless it has specific characteristics or purposes in the fantasy world.

@Shadow: Ahh, that makes sense. That's pretty cool! I guess a Dreamer wouldn't need all those forms though if they stayed in the Land of Dreams?

@Fade yes and no, there are other creatures in species that live in the land of Dreams, and Dreamer are more social creatures, when they are young they can copy and shift into any species that they see, as they get older it gets harder for them to do this and the Dreamer usually only has 3 or less (in rare cases they can have 5 ) even though Dreamer have wings they can not fly with them, they are used to amplify a Fairfin magic ( to teleport, long distant telepathic,) a lot of time a Dreamer pick what they thought was cool as a fawn to shift to, though some find two-legged species are awkward to be then four-legged, but having has is useful.

Catch in my other story favor human form because of his Vaseterm sided and maybe another reason, but he was a lot different in that world he had more of the temperament of a certain type of Vaseterm with others.

Eiro is also a Zeharu, over 3,000 years old and acts like a mother to most. She has the most patience out of all my characters and it's fun to use a mature character, she's definitely different from Eira. And a learning experience for me, I might use her in Shadow's side rp, just because Eira and Eiro are so similar, name wise x'D

Well a job just opened up at the hospital my cousin works at for Janitorial so I'm going to try and apply there, I don't really want to be a janitor still but it is the only job that I have the most experience in 18 years (well house cleaning I've been a janitor at a restaurant for seven years)

I used to be an after hours cleaner at a veterinary hospital. It was easy, fun sometimes and good experience. I had amazing co-workers. You should definitely apply.

Sometimes it can but being out in nature something that our family always does, me and my brother tend to talk a lot and get into some pretty deep conversations in that time, and I love being out in nature and expecially by the water where my imagination really takes flight, so I never really get board very much, or I just take a nap X'D
But it's fun just like most things that depends on who you're doing it with, my dad a very serious Fisher so no noise no nothing, but my brother more out for the enjoyment of it

Had my fits with work about working for 18 years and nothing has really changed, but I also know my mom needs the help, when ever I do get board I play out stories in my head and stuff like that

That's really neat, it sounds relaxing. Your brother sounds like a very likable guy too. x) Fishing seems fun, but it's not very interesting watching my brothers as they watch for fish. XD

That's definitely the downside of working the same job so long, but at least you know what you're doing and you feel comfortable. Plus, and this is the introverted side of me speaking, you don't have to be around people all the time. XD

I have question, would it be rude to take back some of my Dragon eggs? I would only do the one that the person never claimed or they are no longer on color, or should I not?

I say you can, since you are the creator and you have the right to do whatever with your designs. I guess in the future, if you want to easily take designs back, state ahead of time that you have the right to take eggs back if they are neglected.

You should, why let beautiful designs go to waste?

Give them a message, say if you don't draw your dragons in like 2 weeks or something, you're taking them back.

If that person's account no longer exists or they've left colors, take your dragon back, obviously they're not gonna draw it
