@Day-The-SunFury There's a Wii U version - the original one. I wouldn't call it a system seller, but it's a nice game. I tried a demo of that one at MediaMarkt few months ago, and I liked it.
They ported the game to 3DS this year. AFAIK it plays the same, plus adds Poochy functionality to the game.

If you have Wii U, then I'd suggest that version because graphics (it's really soft, cuddly and cute!). If you don't have Wii U, then a used 3DS is the better option imo.
I assumed you don't have 3DS and use smartphone for Colors!.
