No, it's not terribly important, I just thought it might be useful in growing Koizumi's backstory. I had planned to design a monastery and a small bit of where she had grown up, but I didn't really know all that much about #FEBICountries. Mel told me that there was a map of sorts at one point, that showed the territory divisions and the tower of peace or something of the sort before the fifth country was added (I think) but I was unable to find it. I guess we were wrong, so thanks for clearing that up. If you don't mind, I'd also like to inquire about the rps? I've noticed there were quite a few, but it seems they've come to a stop. Will they continue again anytime?

It's very exciting to see someone appreciate such a fact. I greatly enjoy the use of kanji myself, as I feel it lends a bit of wholeness and completion to ideas that relate to Japanese. Personally, I've never used Hiragana or Katakana, only kanji and rōmaji, but I'm also trying to learn Japanese, so I'm sure I'll come to that eventually.

Oh, and yes. Koizumi's Kanji holds a lot of meaning towards her character.

Romaji is the system used for pronunciation of the Japanese language, using the roman alphabet to sound out words. It's mainly used for the convenience of foreigners who aren't familiar with Japanese characters.

For example, if you were to translate something to Japanese using google, it would also show the romaji underneath.
