Add darker green to the trees, like you see in my gallery profile pic, try and mimic that the best you can on your trees, use the blur brush and add light/dark ovals to detail leaves
This look awesome!!! Just add some darker blades of grass or just different shades of them as well as adding some shadowing behind the rock and below the character ^^
Her colors and markings look absolutely gorgeous, wonderful job! I'm glad I could help! :) Looks like everybody's already given input for the background, so I needn't say much. But, if you want to put the viewer in the surroundings instead of just looking through a window, you can use a large soft brush and paint some blurry grass blades at the front-most layer. Just a suggestion. :)

Dude this is fantastic so far!!
Maybe give the grass more yellow highlights and make the leaves on the trees thicker? Just a suggestion ;v;

Also, if you want to make the grass look fuller and more detailed, vary the lengths of the blades so that it looks natural as wildlife-like!
