They were looking in the book at a giant owl creature, then Zane pressed his nose into the book and said, "It's so big! And delicious looking!" Because they were talking about going hunting.

Arora chuckled. "Yeah. They are somewhere up high. We just have to break the branch one is sitting on and fight it, then... Bonappetete." She explained, smiling. (Totally cant spell that xD)

Zane smiled at her, revealing small, sharp teeth under his beak-like lips. He fluffed up his feathers then looked up to the sky, staring between tree branches. "It's a beautiful day for hunting. Let's get to it!"

(I was going to have him say "it's a beautiful day, but not as beautiful as you" xD)

(X'D thats moving a little too fast )

Arora nodded. "Yes it is. Lets go fly above these huge trees and see if we can spot us a Barinx." She got up, spreading her four wings. She grabbed the book and put it back in it's sleeve.

Powerful wings flaped once, then twice, shooting him up into the air at full speed. He opened up his wings wide, and was brought to a full stop just above the trees. His yellow eyes scanned the branches below him.

Arora followed him gracefully. She spun up and spread her wings to slow herself just as he did. She looked around for the interesting prey.

Zane flew up a little higher, until he thought he saw something between the trees. "Hey, I think I saw something over there." He pointed his nose to the direction he saw it.

She looked in the direction Zane was looking. "Yes that is one. Good job. Just be quiet and break the branch." (Sorry got distracted Im back xD)

((Re: (for vent acc) the only real reason i cant sleep is because when i go to lie down i keep thinking of today when i went skiing and it just feels like im falling over and over again '^'))

Zane looked at her, with a somewhat serious expression. "I think you should do it, I flap too aggressively and loudly."

She shrugged. "Fine." The robin-like wind dragon flew down quietly and grabbed the branch with her grey talons. Using all her force, she broke the branch and the Barinx screeched as it plummeted to the ground, just before dying it spread it's wings then landed. Arora landed in front of it, wings spread, head down.

Zane followed after her and landed behind her, with interest in his warm gaze. "I've never tried to hunt like this before."

She chuckled, "Believe me, it gets very fun." She growled at the beast. The Barinx spread its wings and screeched again.

He crouched low to the ground, pushing his back up and fluffing out his feathers to make him seem bigger. "Can I try killing it? Or is there some fancy way to do that as well?" He turned his head towards Arora.

"I'll destract him. You kill it." She jumped around the beast in circles, scratching at it to distract it. The owl-like beast kept watching her.

Zane leapt onto the beat and bit its neck roughly until eventually, after a few moments of pained noises from it, it died. He lifted his head up and looked at the reddish dragon standing before him. "You can have the first bite."

She smilled. "That's very kind of you." She walks up to the corpse and takes a large bite out of it's thick skin and feathers. She rips the bit off and starts gnawing down on it.

Being a messy eater, he had torn the poor bird's wings and skin off before digging into the body for a rack of its ribs. Biting through the bone, he ate quickly and quietly.

Arora happily gnawed on her meat chunk, she glanced at Zane and his gruesome eating style but didn't mind too much. She soon finished her large chunk and went back for more, she ripped a whole wing off and an ear, she then walked back over, dragging the carcass chunk and continued gnawing.

Zane purred with delight and finished off most of the prey, but left an equal amount for Arora. He licked his lips with his long pink tongue and looked at the other dragon, patiently.

Once finished with the other chunk, Arora walked up to the rest of the Barinx meat and picked it up with her grey talons. She sat on her haunches and glanced at Zane. "I'll save this for later." She said, smiling. The female wind dragon unfurled her large feathery wings, prepared to take off with the meat.

Zane looked at her, then flapped his wigs as well. "I'm assuming you aren't going to leave me here alone. Where are we going?"

She smiled more widely. "The biggest tree on this whole island, my home. And of course I wouldn't leave you here." She said, eager to show Zane her large tree home.

He looked excited. "Alright, then! Lead the way." He said with his normal, cool tone. In his head, his thoughts were racing, but externally he kept a relaxed appearance.

She nodded and shot into the sky, spiraling through some clouds that followed behind her. She hovered for a moment, waiting for her new freind.

Zane shot up after her, but stopped himself a little lower than she had. "That was fun!!"

She chuckled a bit, "Yeah, now lets go." She said in a kind tone, the large dragon folded in her wings a bit so she glided fast. Soon, one huge greenwood tree was in view above the clouds.

He stared in awe at the tree, but didn't say anything. His shimmery eyes and bright expression told his thoughts out loud.

Her sow gliding became a hovering flap. She flapped her four wings in unison, slowly getting closer to land in the large hole in the hollow tree.
