Personality: He tends to be quite carefree, not really caring about anything that goes on. This makes him fairly neutral to the whole "humans vs. non-humans" thing. He's quite sarcastic and witty, which can sometimes make him come across as a bit of an a.sshole. He can take insults pretty well and hardly ever becomes angry, but if he does, it's for a good reason. Despite being carefree, he is very careful in potentially dangerous situations, donning a serious facade.
Abilities/Skills/Powers: Mortikai gains most of his magical abilities from a malevolent spirit named Brink (transparent cat above), an entity that takes the form of a cat and only appears to a person upon the edge of deep negative emotion(s). The "bond" he has with Brink allows him to shapeshift into feline animals, his favourite being a regular domestic cat. The other felines he can shapeshift into (but prefers not to often, as it takes more energy) are as follows: Lion, Tiger, Bengal, Norwegian Forest Cat.

Abilities/Skills/Powers (cont): All of his transformations have fur the same colour of his hair (a very dark blue). Brink also allows him to have unlimited time upon the Earth, however Mortikai can still be killed via another person killing him directly (direct would be stabbing or pushing him off a building, indirect would be accidental like being hit by a car, as it needs to be done with intent), hence his wariness in dangerous situations. Brink is also able to possess Mortikai, but only when he is reaching deep negative emotions, such as deep rage or revenge. When possessed, he looks like the two on the far right, depending on what form he's in. Aside from Brink, Mortikai has a good sleight of hand and often uses this to make others trust him.

Weaknesses: His primary weakness is his alcoholism. Mortikai drinks quite often, and usually enough to get drunk. Luckily, alcohol poisoning isn't something he can die from, but being drunk effectively makes him weaker.

Weaknesses (cont): Another weakness is being hurt indirectly or without intent to harm, as he can still get hurt but can't die. This makes him extremely weak and vulnerable to direct harm. His only emotional weakness is when his family or friends are being insulted, which can make him snap at the person who made the comment(s). A lower weakness is that he can be easily bribed to do things with vanilla scented or flavoured things.

Bio (short): Mortikai has been around Shacklestone for many years, maybe even during the Victorian period. No one really knows. Most people just accept that he's very much a permanent resident of the city, and very little people know him personally. However, many people have heard stories passed on from grandparents, and from their grandparents, and so on. Some think of him as some sort of local celebrity, some think of him as some immortal ba.stard who like flaunting his agelessness about the place, and some think of him as a real-life gentleman.Mortikai doesn't really care about what they think, however. He's just around to do whatever Brink wants him to, as a permanent pawn in his game. The name of this game? No one knows.

Ahh, I love him! He seems really interesting, and I like his abilities and bio. Besides, I love anything with a top hat. XD
