Shortleg may be A short legged, Short-tempered, stubborn cat but he shows great leadership which makes him Deputy of Treeclan.
He was a kittypet's kit who died in the thunderpath, Treeclan found him and took him in as their own. they quickly seen his faults, he couldn't climb and his short legs made it hard for him to hunt and fight. After all the Adjusted training he became a warrior. He got his first apprentice and then a second, and a third, on his third Apprentice the clan deputy died of greencough. Hawkstar assigned him To be deputy, and there he sits.

Fun fact: Despite not having kits of his own, he loves kits and even saved them in a battle against Nightclan.
Fun fact 2: because he grew up with not talking much he prefers to talk to kits rather than to the Warriors of the clans.
