No one knows her real name? Huh- Similiar to me (only a very small/select number know it) :P
And shading is pretty hard at first, but after doing lots of it over a long while it gets easier. Learning about lightsources, how colors interact with eachother and how shadows act helps too. I dunno if you know about color theory, but even if you do I'd advise hopping on deviantART and checking out purplekecleon's "How I See Color: A Tutorial" it has A LOT of very helpful stuff in it. It helped me immensely when I found it in....like 2OI3 or so. It covers light sources, colors, and other stuff too.
On here, @birdy's color theory posts ( #btp2) can be pretty helpful too!

Also, I'm only on colors 3d at the moment. Can't really get on dA or anywhere for a variety of reasons (no tablet, computer's broke, me sucking in general lol)
