My 3DS died in early 2018. So... you won't be seeing much over here. If you want to donate a Switch with the Sonar Pen and Colors installed on it, feel free to do it tho.
Oh my gosh! How long has it been since I last read you? About... 5 or 6 years? Probably more! Glad to hear from you again!
Why thank you for your kind words. This portrait took me some days if I recall correctly. This showed me that indeed I was ready to paint realistically with digital media. Lots of trial and error, and while the time says only 7 hours, I spent entire DAYS on it, only that I was making branched copies using the replay feature... it's not like I did it and every stroke fell in place instantly!
The main challenge was the tiny 3DS screen and the potato resolution. Actually, you can clearly see in the replay that, I was "finished" the portrait, but I thought about adding more to it, and you'll notice how everything changes once I start repainting her eyes. If you pay attention to the replay you can guess the decisions I was making about the piece.
Too bad I hadn't made anything like this since I got my Wacom... Haha... Carla (ZeldaAutumn) once told me that probably it was because of overwhelming of software. And well... I've been playing with Sketchbook, Win10 and a Wacom Tablet... but produced almost nothing.
What was your old username? It's confusing, all of a sudden artists are returning with new accounts and I'm racking my brain trying to work out who they are lol.
It was Narciso. I deleted that account because I wasn't happy with how things were going. And I guess you hadn't noticed the date of this gallery. It's been 3 years since I rejoined.
Oh yeah, I didn't notice the date. It's still confusing when people always change their names. It's a shame you deleted your old account, but at least you're still here. Hope you get to start uploading again one day :)
Some of the Wacom tablets allow you to use them for Android. If you have an Android device with Android newer than 5.1, and USB on the go support you could plug it in and paint in the Android version of Colors.
