Lol. XD Long time no see! I'm glad you're doing alright, albeit busy. I've been struggling with humans too, although it's more with the faces than the anatomy. Just gotta sit down and get some solid practice.

Re: If you're procrastinating, then I'd take that as a sign that you don't genuinely have the motivation to draw humans. When it comes to art, don't ever force yourself to draw something or your inspiration will burn out, leaving you in an art block. Rather, if you feel inspired, draw them then; don't make art a priority.

Re: Lol! I understand now. Seems like a pretty stuck situation. I used to play videogames over drawing, but now that I've become serious over my art, games are seldom touched by me.
The only way to really change that, I'd think, is to drop your interest in videogames, but to do that you'll have to devote yourself to something else to the point where it is much more interesting than gaming.

The shadow thing can be kinda hard to notice. But once you do notice it and become aware of it, it stands out!

And you are right.
I've noticed that in cases where there is no light being reflected onto something, the shadows tend to be roughly the same intensity all throughout.
