Marius would be franticly running.
His hair all on end and eyes bulging.
Whatever he was running from was gaining quick.
It was a swift runner and keen hunter.

Marius:"Oh gods oh gods NOOO! Help me please!"

He would trip on a stone and quickly recover and double his efforts to try and outrun that which was behind him: A Serpin scout who was watching the flanks of the Serpin legion.

The serpin that had summoned the snakes is guarded by two more that are a bit stronger than the others. In order to stop more snakes from showing up, someone would need to defeat the summoner, and in order to get to him, they'll need to defeat the two serpins guarding him.

(So am I only allowed to use a computer to get in on this? And if so, why exactly? Just wondering, that's all)

[Position on map: 7 squares vertical and 3 squares horizontal]

The Serpin scout which was in hot pursuit of Marius was beginning to get tired of this ridiculous chase.
Marius was also growing tired of this grueling sprint. Marius:"Gods....I hope I come out of this alive...."
Marius would thrust his right-hind leg into the ground and pivot around to face the Serpins direction.
He would then push off as hard as he can backwards toward the Serpin. The Serpin scout had no time to react. He was at full sprint toward Marius and could not stop in time before Marius slammed into the Serpins chest with his shoulder.
They both would topple over in a cloud of dust.

Spade looks around. "These snakes... are moving too... uniformly.... for them to just be on their own... is someone summoning them? *Looks around the the summoner, notices the one guarded by the two serpins.*

( @Heishi: Most people are going to use the computer to comment, regardless of whether it's required or not, because it's a lot easier than typing on a 3DS. Since the 3DS won't allow you to read comments made on other devices, it's best just to use a computer or web browser so that you don't miss anything.)

(Oh yeah guys. Marius is a green unit on the map. And is trying to stay alive. If another unit can talk to him. He will be successfully assimilated into the group)

[On the battlefield]

Marius:"Ughhh....My head!...."

He would be on top of the Serpin dazed. The serpin would angrily push Marius off and retaliate with a attack.

Serpin MT: (6)x2.
Marius MT:10(No follow up attack)

Jaime: Yup definitely the place where Finni is. And it seems we're in combat. Get ready Mikayla I'll go support that older looking person. He seems nice.

[On the battlefield]

Marius would be hit twice by the Serpin
Marius:"Gah! Urk!....Dang it!"
Marius's counter-attack would hit the Serpin.

It would then go to Marius's turn.

Marius:"Ack....I know I'm scared....But I can't run anymore.....I got to do something! And FAST!"

Marius would go in for a strike against the Serpin

Marius(MT: 10.No follow up attack ) (Crit: 15)
Serpin scout(MT : 6x2) (Crit: 8)

Marius would lunge forward and use his Beaststone and transform in mid-air and slam his claw downward on the Serpin Scout's head. The serpins HP(Which was depleted by 10 by a counter-attack from Marius) Would K.O it.

Marius:"Did I do it?.....Oh my gods! I can do this!"

He would have more confidence knowing that he was able to successfully harm one. He would see the others fighting fiercely. And reluctantly, He would run toward them to help fend off the Serpins

legion. Which was in full fledge combat.

(I'll enter the browser and view things, using the 3DS. Also, don't mean to bash you with questions, but, should I do what Haiiro is doing, and make my OCs green units, or just play them as if they were already part of the group? Also, how many characters should I use and if only one, which character?)

A blue force of wind shoots out at one of the Serpin guards.

"Sorry i'm late." Said Indigo, arriving with Duciel in hand, glowing with a greenish blue aura.

[Battlefield]

Marius would see a large number of snakes jumping at the other units nearby. The battle was in full swing and getting more heated.

Marius: "Snakes....SO! MANY! SNAKES! FATE LOVES SCREWING UP MY LIFE!"

He would hesitate for some time before running forward again toward the others. Two Serpin Soldiers would see Marius running and would start chasing after him. Presuming he is a combatant there to fight against them.

Spade walks up to the summoner and his bodyguards. "Uhhh.... Excuse me? You wouldn't happen to have anything to do with all these snakes running about, would you? Because, and I don't want to be rude here, it's quite annoying..."

Ari's ears twitched at the sound of hissess in the distance. "What?" She stood up from the patch of flowers she was sitting in and took off at a sprint towards the sound of overlaping hissing. Her heart raced as the intensity in the air increased.
She heard weapons clashing and quickened her pace. She stopped at the edge of a clearing with ruins, and people and serpins fighting. Snakes saw her and aimed for her slithering quickly, eating up the distance.
Ari did what came naturally to her; she sang.
"Nakunaru ni watashi orochi."
Her voice echoed across the field as flowed through the notes.
The snakes veered away seeming to not see her.
She made her way in to the fray.

kath: *still atacking a nearby serpin while notices jaime* child what are you doing here?! *sounds worried* @Jaime

Dia:* near yuudai* then have courage and defeat that fear! *still fighting a serpin* watch it more are coming this way! @Yuudai

The bodyguards notice Spade and one of them immediately attacks him.

( @Haiiro, That'd be no problem at all. I'll see if I can get Indigo to smoothly get into contact. Also, as much as I like math, I agrer with ime Paladin)

Serpia and her brother are knocked back by the leader. Heavily wounded, they are forced to revert into their normal state.
[Serpia]

"He's too pawerful. He must be one of my father's strongest warriors."

[Ari]

Marius would notice the two Serpin Soldiers chasing him.

Marius:" Awww not again!..."

Marius would be trying to hasten his pace toward the trees.
Marius would hear a calming voice echo through the general area. His fears for a moment would almost elude him, But the thought of being gobbled up by snake-like soldiers was so overpowering that he could not shake the nightmare.

Marius:" Singing!? Here?!"

He would see Ari running toward the others who were in the middle of fierce combat.

Marius: :HEY YOU! PERSON! HELP!"

( @Heishi: Sorry I missed you're comment. You can do the green unit thing if you want. For this RP, I'm not going to put a limit on characters, so we'll see how that goes. Just be clear who's speaking with each comment.)

Spade: "Yeesh! I guess I really should've seen this coming...." He dodges the serpin's bites, and with being too close to effectively use his bow, Spade draws an arrow. He then sticks it vertically into the Serpin's mouth, making it so the Serpin can't bite. Spade then is able to draw his bow, and fires at the body guards, leaving two direct but non lethal hits, incapacitating the guards. After all that is done, he points his bow, arrow included, at the summoner. "Now... can you pretty please stop with the snakes?"

[Marius]
Ari heard a call for help and veered toward the voice. "Are you okay? you're not harmed, are you?"

(I'll make my OC part of the group now, to avoid confusion, and might make a seperate pic for green units. I'm going to use #TorraFEBI, as he hasn't been in a paralogue yet, I believe.)

The bodyguards get back up and one of them wraps itself around Spade from behind "Did you really think it would be that easy?"

[Ari]

Marius would hear Ari call out to him.
He would be running out of breath from the drawn out sprint to her location. He would glance over his shoulder to see how close the two Serpin soldiers were.

Marius would finally reach Ari.

Marius:"I'm!....*Pant*...A bit...*Pant*...Harmed!...These Snake-Demon spawn won't stop attacking me!"

(I'm thinking it should take more than one unit to take out the bodyguards and the summoner.)

(I blasted some wind magic at one of the snake dudes, am I to just carry on or is somebody playing the opponents? I dont mind either. I just want to know if I'm to wait or continue)

( @Gills: I'm primarily here to keep the the serpins active as much as I can, but for the most part, everyone is responsible for whatever enemy they're fighting.)

Spade: "I was kind of hoping it would... Ugh... are you going to kill me now? Because, honestly, I'm not a fan of that whole "killing" thing. But..." He flicks his wrist, and a small knife comes out of his sleeve. He twirls the knife in his hand, and stabs the guard in the middle of his body. The guard cries out in pain, and let's go of Spade. Now holding the knife, and pointing it at the other guard, he finishes "I will if I have to."

[Marius]
"Well you're a wolfskin, right? Transform, defend yourself!!!"
She took a stance, her lance pointed out in front of her as the two serpins came for them both.
She sang a few notes. "Drops of dew fall over you."
Marius's wounds mended.

(In other words, feel free to carry on.)

Jaime: *Eyes sparkle a bit* Okie! I'll do my best Hades.

A serpin sneaks up on Ivanna and wraps its tail around her leg in an attempt to pull her down.

[Ari]

Marius's knees would be shaking uncontrollably.

Marius:" B-But!? Theres so many of them! And their ICKY!"
Marius would hear the soothing melody and would feel his wounds melt away.

Marius:'Wh-What the!? Y-You?!....Well, I don't know what you just did! But now I owe you!...Ughhh this is going to be really bad...."

Marius would grip his beaststone. The beaststone would flash and his entire appearance would be different.

Marius:"You got the one on the right!......R-Right?!"

His voice would quiver with fear of Serpentine Warriors

The leader strikes against Serpia, knocking her into a stone wall. She topples over, exhausted and unnable to fight back. The leader momentarily transforms back into a person. "You should have returned with us. Now you must be eliminated." He prepares to deal the finishing strike.

Indigo leapt up and swung his blade quickly, casting a force of wind over his opponent.

"One down... what?" He notices Marius, seeming hurt and helpless. He runs across the battlefield, dodging the Serpins' attacks, then gets cut off by a group of them. "Damn." He curses.

Jaime: *See's Serpia and scurries to her* be right back Hades I just gotta protect the snake lady. Do we have a healer *Plays flute*

Kath:* notices serpia is in quite danger and throws her javelin to the leader* HA!!!

[Marius]
"Don't worry I have this one!"
She darted forward planting her lance in the ground vaulting into the air above the serpin soldier, landing behind him spinning her lance in a diagnal slice at the back of the serpin.
The serpin recoiled from the long gash across his back. He spun around fury in his eyes at the pain she caused him.

#TorraFEBI would be laying in grass, plucking the strings of his Shamisen. He would close his eyes and exhale in relaxation, when right then a large could stream of scales would slowly slither across his chest. He would open an eye and glance down at his torso. It was a large snake, staring right at him. He would quickly grab the serpant's neck and toss it away, snatching his instrument and sprinting off where the team was.

(Cold* not could, stupid typos)

The javelin hits the leader in the stomach, forcing him to stumble backwards. "HHHHSSSSSSSSSSS"

Mikai: //starts running at the serpin leader to save serpia

Jaime: Come on miss we need to get you to safety before your critical injuries get worse, I think I have a concoction or two in here,,, I'll support you as best I can.

The serpins surround Indigo, and proceed to encircle him. Indigo swoops low, and twirls in a 360° with his blade, causing a gust of wind to push away all the serpins surrounding him.

[Ari]

Marius:" Okay good!"

Marius would lumber toward the Serpin Soldier running toward him. He would throw a claw downward at the Serpin. The Serpin would slither out of the way then go up Marius's arm and wrap around his neck.

Marius:"GAHHHH! GET OFF ME!"

Marius would claw at the Serpin around his neck. Struggling to lock his grasp. At long last his claws would clench around the Serpin. He would pull it off and slug it 3 or four times until it was unconscious.

He would glance over to Ari who had just did a acrobatic attack at her enemy. He would glance at the angry Serpin who was now facing Ari. With his back turned to Marius

Marius:"I got something for you jerk-wad!"
he would toss the K.Oed Serpin's body at the Serpin Ari was engaging combat with.

Indigo rushes upon Marius.

"Are you alright?" He says quickly with his arm stretch outward to him hastily.

Yuudai: is that Ivanna

The serpin soldier didn't see it coming, he was about to lung at Ari when Marius hucked the other serpin at him.
"Not bad!"

Marius would be in WolfSkin form and had just finished tossing a Serpin soldier when Indigo arrived.

Marius:"Huh?! THANK THE GODS! REINFORCEMENTS!"

He would carefully extend his arm out and shake Indigo's hand.

Marius:" Me and this Maiden have been fending off these guys for a bit! I have no idea whats going on!"

[Marius & Indigo]
She ran over to them.
"Are you both alright?"

Xelle, as always, shows up late to group up with everyone else, seeing the chaos that is arising. Her attention shifted to all those currently injured. She rushes over to help.

Acen:*firing weak blade beams to knock out enemy serpins*

Jaime: Omg is that Ms.Xelle??? Big guy follow me and carry her, she's a wonderful lady kinda like a mom to everyone so hurry! She'll heal your friend.

( @bababanana: I was trying to have it so that it takes more than one character to finish off the serpin bodygaurds. Also we're trying to prevent killing in this scenario.

Anyone else want to take on the bodyguards with Spade? Also, the leader will be available to fight soon as well.)

Indigo nodded. "I just arrived. I am not sure what's going on, but my friends are being attacked by these Serpin people. They usually do not attack others like this without reason... here, I'll help you if you help me stop this fight." He said, then nodding to Ari, in response sayibg he was alright.

Marius would sigh in relief when he heard that there were other people on their side.

Xelle quickly glances at mikai and serpia, "Set her down here, sweetie, I'll take care of her." She quickly uses her staff and closes the wounds on her. "She should be fine now."
Xelle quieted her voice to speak to serpia, "How are you feeling now?"

His arm would catch the Serpin mid lunge at Ari. His arm drove itself haphazardly into the Serpins back. It would be knocked unconscious.

Marius would exhale in relief.

Marius: "I didn't think I would hit it in time....Lucky for you I am Magnificent! Nyahahahaha!"

"Tch... little b-" she quickly averts her attention to the massive wyvern Jaime seems to be mounting. Carefully incapacitating snakes that cross her path, she quickly courtesies to Dia, smiles, and lifts Jaime gently off of the beast.

*He would kick a snake and run towards the leader, and hold his stone in the air, transforming into his tiger form*

Mikayla approaches a Serpin soldier with her lance near his throat. The soldier is taken aback and quickly transforms, startling Mikayla and making her stumble backwards onto the ground. Hovering above Mikayla and rendering her lance useless from this close of a range, he prepares to bite. However, Mikayla delivers a flurry of powerful jabs to the serpents abdomen and delivers a kick to the jaw.

Jaime: *Sneaks away from Mikayla* Jeez, my ratings of being a good kid have diminished so much. Meh not my problem this one time. *go's to Xelle*

[Mikai and the Leader of the Serpin attack force]

Marius would be in his Beast form. charging violently through the lines of serpin warriors. slamming those in his path aside Some latching onto his arms and legs slowing his approach. But at long last he would make it to where Mikai was engaged in battle.

(Kay, then Jaime makes 5, plus Xelle for healing support.)

Marius would grab a serpin that had grabbed onto his leg during his approach to the battle. He would toss the serpin at the Serpin Leader to try and give Mikai a breather.

Marius:"Hey! I think you dropped a few of these!"

*Acen gets in between Marius and the leader*
Acen:Let's try to resolve this peacefully first..

Mikayla frantically scurries away from the temporarily limp Serpins body. Grabbing her lance she turns around to see that Jaime has disappeared (surprise surprise). "Dear gods, you're cousin is going to kill me..." she mutters to herself and runs off to attempt to find the green haired miscreant.

Marius would stop just before throwing.

Marius:"Hey I know diplomacy is nicer.....But That big guy with the club looks wounded.....But if you say so. I'll wait for your command."

Marius would hold the serpin in his arms. Waiting for the signal to throw.

Torra would run and jump onto Marius, and use him as a stool to hop off of. He would try and initiate an attack on the Serpin Leader.

Xelle quickly healed mikai and spoke to yuudai "we must help acen, yuudai." She turned to the leader and lowered her voice. "If we can't solve this peacefully."

We serpins are a proud race, and you have shamed us by bringing yourselves into our affair. You shall not recieve any mercy from me!" Transforms back into a serpent.

Xelle sighed and said. "If only you two behaved..." she glared at torta and Marius. "We have no other choice now. Jaime, get behind me please."
She encouraged the others, "Give it your all, everyone."

Locating the serpin leader and his opponents, Mikayla realizes that the climax is about to begin and scans the battlefront for Jaime, assuming that he'd want to make himself useful.

The serpin leader charges at Acen, swerving left and right to avoid attacks from the others.

Marius had thrown the serpin leader in his hands at the Serpin Leader. The serpin warriors body sadly struck the ground instead of the leader.

Marius:"Dang!....Missed him!"

Ari stares intently at the summoner as she leaps over a swarm of writhing snakes.
She swings her lance at the summoner.

( @Gills: On second thought, Indigo can join. There's an hour left so there's not gonna be too much left to do.)

*Acen strikes using the flat part of his sword,trying to avoid hurting him*

Spade wraps bandages around the serpin he hits shoulder. However, the serpin was feigning unconsciousness. The serpin quickly sat up, bit Spade in the forearm, before slithering away. Spade winches. "I... guess that's what I get for being nice..." He quickly draws his bow, and fires at the serpin, this time hitting the serpin's tail. The serpin passes out from the pain. However, Spade quickly recognizes the poison in the serpin's bite. Using his apothecary skills, he quickly gathers nearby plants and bugs to concoct a makeshift antidote. "Urgh.... I'm not looking forward to this..." He chugs the concoction. "The pain... should go away in about 5-8 hours... but it might affect my archery for the rest of this battle..."

Torra would try to claw, bite, and tackle the leader, but constantly missing or getting hit back*

Torra: "Uugh..... snakes... I...HATE..SNAKES! Why won't you drop dead!?"

Acen's strike forces the leader back. He tries to counter, but leaves himself open for an attack from someone else.

Yuudai: //runs circles around the serpin leader, not aiming at the serpin, rather shooting at the trees around him

[Serpin Leader]

Marius would quickly grab at the Serpin leader. Trying to hold him still so that someone could get a good hit.

Marius:"Hold still dangit!"

Searching for Jaime, Mikayla did not realize that she had left her guard down. allowing a serpin soldier to approach her from the behind. Preparing to deliver a mouthful of poison, the slurpin unhinged its jaw and initiated the attack. Grazing her left shoulder, Mikayla swung around furiously and hit the serpents head with the blunt of her lance, sending the soldier reeling back in pain.

Examining her wound she swore under her breath, but continued her search.

Marius interrupts the leader's attack, but he manages to shake him off.

[Serpin Leader, Marius, etc.]

Torra would ready his claw to scratch the leader's face, thanks to marius holding him back.

Torra: "HAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

"Acen! Your back!" Indigo cried as he glided to his side and kicked away a snake

Marius would see the Serpin leader. Who was now restrained

Marius:"All together now guys! He's open!"

Marius would Lumber forward to the Serpin leader.
His chest would ache from the pain.

Torra would try to swipe at the leader's face with his claw many times in rage and frustration.

The leader transforms back into a person a quickly slips out of the trap, but is in pain from Yuudai's kick.

Spade: *Notices Ari's battle with the summoner. He grabs his bow, and lines up a shot. "Oh ow ow ow ow ow...." He fires, just barely missing Ari, and lands a non fatal hit on the summoner.

Marius would wave in her direction as he charged at the leader

Marius:"Thanks! I owe you one!"

Taking up refuge underneath a secluded tree, Mikayla sits down, wincing in pain from her poisonous laceration.

He also dodges most of Torra's attacks, but takes a few scratches to the face.

Yuudai: oh he slipped out by transforming
Too bad I can make it tighter!
//pulls the strings again to try tie the serpin leader up

However, he does not dodge Acen's blade beam, and is forcefully knocked into the air.

[Conbatants vs Leader]

"Do not kill the leader!" Indigo cried as he fended off another Serpin.

"I'm still not sure what's going on... why are we fighting?"

Marius would charge at the Serpin Leader.

He knew he would probably be avoided. But nonetheless he knew that if he could just tire the leader out. That maybe everyone would have a shot.

Marius:"Here goes!"

He would attempt to slam his arm down on down on the leader.

Torra would be raging and lashing his claws at the serpin leader.

"Gah...*Pant* DIE YOU FILTHY CREATURE! AAAAAGH!"

The leader transformed and barely blocked Marius's attack with his tail.

Marius would stumble back. The serpin leader was more adept at fighting than Marius was.

Marius would start trying to feign strike the leader.
trying to fake out the leader by acting like he was going to hit with his left arm. then suddenly lash out with his right.

Marius: "Nya! Kya! Hya! Nyaaa!"

The summoner easily dodged her strikes, and went for her arm.
Ari brought her lance up for a parry, but the summoner's strike was a feign, instead biting her leg.
"Ghk!"
The summoner was readying another strike. Ari held her lance up, but felt dizzy. Suddenly an arrow hit the serpin summoner.
She was leaning on her lance for support.

The leader gets hit by Yuudai's arrow and screams in pain. He swings his tail at the fighters, hoping to knock them over.

Dia: *founds Mickayla and flies there* Mikayla! *seees her arm* we need to go with Xelle now *helps Mikayla stands up And helps her so she can mount his wyvern* youre going to be ok *starts looking around searching for Xelle*

Yuudai: Hey Acen heads up!
//yanks on a string connected to the arrow, sending the serpin leader at Acen

Torra: "Agh, gaagh!"

Marius had been caught off guard by the Serpin leader's attack. He would fall to the ground next to the serpin leaders feet.

The leader is flung towards Acen, unable to defend himself.

Marius would get on his feet. He would be starting to run out of energy and knew that him and his companions needed to put an end to this.

Marius:"Keep going....We got this..."

Jaime: Kitty seems frustrated, like an angsty teenager with a temper tantrum //Pets Torra

Marius would see the Serpin leader launched into the air.
He would run as fast as he could in the direction where the leader was descending to.

Marius:"Fetch....Play fetch....Hehe...never thought I would say that to myself...Nyehehe!..."

"Thank you Dia..."
Despite her weak condition she whispers "His hair still looks gorgeous..."

Spade manages land a few more near shots, even with his bad arm. The summoner's attention turns to Spade. With a ferocious hiss, the summoner slithers to Spade. Spade, who has decided a bow is too risky, pulls an arrow from his quiver. He holds the arrow as a knife. The summoner lunges at Spade, who breaks the arrowhead off the stick. He dodges the lunge, and manages to kick away the summoner's next few jumps. Finally, Spade drives the arrowhead into the upper back of the summoner's snake form, rendering him incapacitated, but alive. The onslaught of regular snakes dies down.

[Jaime]

Torra: "I'm not a kitten! You useless child!" *He would push back Jaime in frustration*

Acen:It's over! *He swings Solais and hits the leader in the head using the flat side of his sword*

Yuudai: I wonder where my other trap went...
//giant rock falls on torra

Marius would be holding the leader. He would wait for Yuudai to reach him so that the leader could be restrained.

The leader is heavily wounded from the attcak. He reverts into his normal state and stumbles back. "They're stronger than I anticipated." He looks over the field to see nearly all of the other serpins defeated. "Very well, we shall admit defeat for now, but mark my words, if you choose to defend her (Serpia), you'll face the wrath of our chief." He commands the serpins to take the wounded and retreat.

Spade notices Ari's bite. "Oh, you were poisoned..? Don't worry, I just made an antidote... careful though, it tastes bad..." *Hands to Ari*

Marius would hold the now restrained Serpin leader in his arm.

Marius would nod

Marius:"Indeed! A great team I would say!"

Xelle looked over to dia and mikayla, she quickly healed her. "Mikayla, dear, feel better now?"

Jaime: Well word around the castle, he's been acting odd and some sort of aura or mist is surrounding him at times. Apparently there's been deaths as well after he's visited certain places You know Cousin is a peaceful lord? Till his eyes change that is. But I wouldn't say that it's exactly him this time from the stories. But we're gonna need to prepare. Soldiers have been commissioned somewhere by him. And it's somewhere close yet far. That's all I can share from back home...
