Depending on how damaged or 'deep' the mind is determins if they are aware and can help or not.

Braefhorn: These doors are not staible, a doe can become trapped in the real world or in a childs mind.
If the first happens they they can stay in their human form untill they are found, as long as they do not use their powers, they are safe, though they are weaker in their human form, and even more so in the real world.
If the later happens then they must wait untill the child falls asleep.
It is much easier to create a Braefhorn in a mind, then in reality.

Nightmares & Doe's: These creatures are many things, but kind and merciful are not one. They seek to destroy the innosent minds of children, poisen their sweet safe dreams, with frightning images. Most children are imune and forget on their own, just how bad it was. But if they are not then that is were the Doe's come in, their job is to iradicate the Nightmares, and the remove what they can of the nightmare dream.

Most of the time the child will forget they ever dreamed.
This is not all the Doe's do, they protect not only children, but adults and animals aswell.
Some Doe are asigned to animals, and some are to humans, the rankings are the same no matter the job.

Rankings: The highest is white and the lowest is brown.
White: Only the Queen is white, she is the gardian of all Doevians, a new Queen is chosen every 100 years, unless the Queen dies or fails in her duties.
Gold: Gold smoke is the Queens guards and the souldiers that fight in the great war.
Yellow: Being closest to gold they a athority over all ranking under through blue, They are seen as the Queens advisers, but many are human protecters.
Green: Green smokes are versitile in what they protect, they protect bolth man and beast, and are thought to be the most caring of the colors, many greens are chosen a queens. They have athority of every color through pink.

Blue: A stroung loyal color, they protect only one human in their life, they are one of the lower colors but still respected. They hold athority over every color through brown.

Red: Gentle people despite the alarming color, they protect only animals and tend to live in the real world more then the dream world, since animals are more sensitive to the Nightmares then humans when they are awake, they must be protected bolth in dreams and out. Reds hold athority over ever color through brown, many are chosen as queen.

Pink: One of the lesser colors but still just as needed, they protect bolth human and beast, though not as stroung then normaly take watch whilst the higher strounger colors rest. They hold athority over every color through brown

Brown: Being the lowest color does not mean it is disrespected, this is the most importent color, they do not protect humans or animals, but they are healers, they are the only ones that can heal a injered Doe, -cont-

And the only ones that can remove Nightmare poison, which can ki'll a Doe with in hours if not treated. They hold no athority over any color, but all colors even white respect and honor them, they are rarly queen even less then Pink.

Rares/

Purple: A human in a dying comatose or on the brink of death turned into a Doe, -Forbiden-.

Black: A poisoned Doe turned into a Nightmare, only one in exsitence, no can ever be made, -Forbiden-.
