"I believe there are some ruins of an abandoned human fort just west of here. Perhaps we can find shelter there for a short while."

@Mikai: "My brother isn't very fond of humans. You seem to be the only exception so far." She looks at Hades. "He's still not fond of you though."

[Serpia]

"Very well." She looks at her brother. "I told you they wouldn't like it." Her brother hisses angrily.

As the party approaches the ruins, the serpins soon emerge from the trees. Some are in their serpent forms while several still appear as people. One of the human-looking ones steps forward.

"Mistress Serpia! You have committed the crime of leaving or tribe! Return to us at once or face the consiquences!"

Mikai: //whips a throwing club at the head of the serpin talking

Another serpin in its snake form flies in front of the club and catches it in its fangs. Their leader continues speaking, unaffected by Mikai's outburst. "The punishment for a crime such as this is usually death. However, because you are the chief's daughter, your punishment shall be far less severe, so long as you come back with us."

[Serpia]

"I apologize, but I cannot come with you at this time. There is something that I must do, and it cannot be done within the tribe."

[Serpin Leader]

"Then you lead me no choice." He motions for the other serpins to prepare for battle.

Mikai: //growls as he prepares for battle

[Serpia]

"I suppose we have no other choice then." She pulls out her Reptius Scale and she and her brother transform into a large, two-headed snake. As this is happening, the army of the five nations, as well as other individuals in the vicinity, are alerted to this confrontation.

There are a group of serpins blocking the path between the army and Serpia's group. They will need to be dealt with in order to reach Mikai, Hades, and Serpia.

A young man trips out from the other side the trees.
"WAAAHH! Ow... that hurt.... oh, people. Uhhh, hi.. can you direct me to the next town ov-.... Oh.... is that group trying to kill you?"

Oriale and her Pegasus notice the confrontation from the air. "Everyone! There seem to be some civilians surrounded by hostile Serpin! We have to help them, and quick!" She calls to the others.
Oriale flies down within earshot of Serpia and her companions.

One of the serpins spots the man, and quickly approaches him. "This is a private matter among us serpins! Outsiders are not welcome!"

Mikai: ?!
These new friends?

*Acen notices Oriale flying to their aid and follows her*

Acen:As friends of Queen Amber,it is our duty to protect her kingdom!

Yuudai: Lord Acen! Lady Oriale! What's happening-

The man looks a little startled. "Oh... uh... sorry... I guess I can just keep walki-" He suddenly looks confused "Uhhhhh... does that lady over there have a snake in her head?"

Acen:You'll be fine.Just attack from afar like you always do. @Yuudai

Oriale dismounts and sticks her arm out in front of the man. "Peace, all of you. This may not be my kingdom, but I will prevent bloodshed on its soil as well as I'm able. Now, what's going on?"

Serpia ad her brother attack the leader, who had also just transformed. He is slightly stronger, but having two heads gives Serpia the upper hand. Her brother wraps himself around the leader's long neck as Serpia bites him on the head.

Yuudai: ..........yeah............
//internal screaming

One of the serpins jumps in front of Oriale. "This does not concern you, pegasus rider! Leave now!

"..Oh. Well then. Diplomacy is out." Ori sighs.

Acen:It's no use Oriale,they're already engaged in combat.

*blocks hit meant for Oriale*

The man is becoming increasingly confused. "Uhhhh... it that a two headed snake fighting with a regular snake? Uhhh.... should I help? But who's the bad guy?"

@Serpin guy
"I'll make it my concern then!" She raises her lance and points it at the Serpin. "As reigning Queen of Avia, I will defend these people for Lady Amber. Stand down, please."

@Mikai
"Ah! That makes.. A good amount of sense. Thank you for the recap, sir."

Frustrated with the man's indecisiveness, the serpin transforms and attacks.

"Acen! Many thanks. I'll try to handle myself so you won't have to throw yourself into danger again."

The serpin doesn't listen to Oriale and lunges toward her, but his attack is deflected by Acen.

Oriale, noticing the Serpin attacking the man, instinctively throws her lance in his path, not knowing if it would hit or block him from attacking. "Gah! Gods, he's done nothing to hurt you!"
She stops, noticing she is now unarmed. "Oh gods."

Acen:No problem! Let's just all be careful

"WAAAHH!" The man jumps out of the way, and quickly draws his bow. "...Does this mean you're the bad guy?"

Yuudai: woo good job guys!
I'm just gonna... say all the way over here and make sure you... don't get attacked from behind, yeah!

A serpin notices Yuudai and Diarmuid off in the distance and transforms in order to approach them. Her smaller size in comparison to the other serpins allows her to slither under the chaos undetected.

Dia: *still atacking a serpín* well then atack!! We got no time for fear yuudai !!*still not noticing the serpin aproaching*

kath:*flies next to Acen and Oriale* milord,milady !you should be carefull out here, there are more serpins aproaching! *says pointing with her lance to serpins*

Four serpins charge towards Oriale, Acen, Kath, and Carly.

Acen:I hear some of them can poison us so we need to be really careful.Best to attack with range.*gives Dia and Oriale a javelin*

Managing to incapacitate the Serbian, the man is looking for potential allies. Having found himself in the vicinity of Mikai, he calls out to him. "Uhhh excuse me? Could you please explain to me what is happening?"

*Serpian. Not Serbian. I don't think they have Serbia.

Oriale flies over and grabs her lance from the ground before turning to face the incoming Serpin.
"Brace yourselves!" She calls as she tosses her javelin towards the Serpin.

(BTW, once I've sent an enemy serpin to attack a character, it's up to you guys what happens next with that particular serpin. I'll try to keep up with what's going on, but I might have difficulty if I try to manage the actions of 50+ enemies at once. XD)

The leader serpin breaks free of the siblings' grip and forces them back. Serpia temporarily transforms back into a person and speaks to Mikai. "I'm alright. I'll take care of the leader. I ask that you take care of any that come after us."

(Today is the greatest day of Hades' life)

The serpin that was sneaking up on Yuudai is suddenly confused at his disappearance. She looks around but is unable to find him, so she continues after Dia.

The man notices Serpia. "Oh, excuse me! Can you help me out here? I'm kinda confused about what's going o-.... Is your hair a snake? Uhhh... That's uh... unique..."

Acen:*attacks with Solais from a distance*

Dia: *defeats the other serpin and takes the javelin to atack the other serrín who was near yuudai and Dia* understood!! *starts atacking the other serpin*
Kath:*starts spining her lance and atacking the serpins* egh this is no good were out numbered*looks at the small group of Mikai Hades and serpia and flies with them*

Before she can respond to the man, Serpia is attacked by the leader and quickly transforms again. The two are entangled in a vicious cycle.

Oriale charges toward a Serpin, using her lance to try and intercept his attacks.

Reuben: *does cool myrmidon stuff*

One of the serpins is hit in the eye by Yuudai's arrow and frantically searches for the source of it. It quickly spots the archer hiding underneath Acen and rushes towards them.

Oriale spins her lance to redirect a large from the Serpin, then slashes his side and she flies towards Hades and Mikai. "How are you two holding up?"

Lunge, not large. What the heck.

(OK it's Spade I'm calling him Spade)
Spade: "Uh... Good luck! Anyone wanna explain what's going on? Hellooooooooo?"

Yuudai: //shoots the serpin in its other eye

A serpin suddenly rises from the ground and attempts to bite into Spade.

Spade: "WAH! Why meee?! I'm a neutral party in all this!" He fires his bow, managing to drive the serpin off.

Mikai: //lunges at the serpin leader to help out serpia

Kath:* finishes atacking a near serpin from oriale and Hades* huh? *hears the last parts of im good* glad to hear that but please watch out there ! *spins her lance and goes to atack a serpín near Oriale*

Dia:*catches up with yuudai and Aden* sorry for the delay , but i see you two are doing ok*looks at yuudai* is it that serious ? *says raising an eyebrow*

Oriale gives a soft nod and turns back to the action, attacking the Serpin Kath is fighting. "Pegasus knights stay together, countries aside. Shall we?"

Spade: *Still looking for friendly units* "I'm so confused... Why are same people trying to kill me? And why does that lady have a snake in her hair? That shouldn't even be possible! Hair doesn't have any muscles, how does it move around?! Uh... Helloooo? Anyone?

One of the serpins places his hand on the ground and sends out a vibration, summoning a horde of ordinary snakes to attack the fighters.

Spade: "Now there's regular snakes?! Ugh... Why couldn't they have ticked off a bunch of taguels?"

Jaime: Why is it so creepy Mikayla,,, From my ratings i'd say this place could be in the top 100 dangerous places on the continent to date with it's laguz.
Also where's Finni I need to inform him of something about cousin. their army should be here if i'm correct.

Yuudai: OH GODS WHY ARE THERE ACTUAL SNAKES NOW AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

(Hey guys sorry I missed part 1. I was attending a function last night and could not participate. I wish I could. It looks so fun! I should be able to attend tonight. But I had a idea as to how I introduce #Mariusfebi
He'll be a hostage. Because he is absolutely afraid of snakes. He'll start groveling until their gone. So he's a ally that will need to be paired up with whoever his rescuer is. until the Serpins are gone. Just an idea Let me know if its okay :D)

( It's continuing today too Madi so you can still join! Basically Serpia is fleeing from her tribe, accompanied by Hades and Mikai. Despite seeing the group of humans ( royals and gang ), Serpia decides not to engage them. Eventually her tribe confronts them and requests that Serpia return or she will be punished. Serpia refuses and they begin fighting. The confrontation alerts the "royal party" and some warriors assist Serpia and her friends. During the fight, Hades continually hits on women, Spade wanders through the battlefield extremely confused as to what is going on, Oriale goes ham on all the snakes, Yuudai cowers behind Acen, and the others fight Serpias tribesmen while Serpia fights the leader. Mikayla is accompanying Jaime so that he can deliver a message to Finni about his cousin Zona. The leader of the Serpins then releases a pulse of energy that calls regular snakes to the battlefield. That's pretty much it sorry if I forgot anything. )

( @Haiiro: Because of the nature of the serpins, they're probably not taking hostages, especially since their focus is on Serpia. It's not a bad idea, I just don't think it works in this particular scenario.

@Madi & Jakob: That's as good a summary as I could think of. XD I just posted the pic for part 2, which also has a list of participating characters.)

( @Haiiro: That's a good question. You're character probably wouldn't be the only one to appear randomly in this situation, but maybe try to come up with a reason why he might be in the area (pretty much a jungle) in the first place.)

I was thinking of maybe having him appear on the map as a Green neutral unit. Is that okay? I want to make sure I'm not breaking any rules for this chapter :D
