Very true, but I dont build monumets(sorta) I dont see creepers as monsters,(if i did, then why do i have a stuffed creeper) They are usually minding there own busness untill
YOU attack them just because your afride that thay'll blow up your house. they cant because there explotions are to small(unless they are charged, or you built a small house). Now when you are mining, I have heared its a different story( I only mine on peaceful if im in a cave.)

Yeah, creeper, um, well, you... kind of destroyed my Hardcore playthrough 36 times (I'm not kidding, I've survived 3 nights in Hardcore MORE THAN 36 times, every single attempt ending from a creeper)

Now that I think about it, creepers are actually REALLY aggressive, so we really SHOULD see them as monsters.
