woah is he CRYING in panel 1
and a tip, in darker scenes, try darkening the speech bubbles a little, it can help make them not detract attention from what's happening in the panel.
alsoo @flowerspice & @sharktoof's series ( #szcomics, iirc, and #naturalphenomena) are good to look to as they can help you with doing tiny-but-readable text.
