It is several years since America became victorious in the Revolutionary War, yet still a hopeful widow waits for her hero to come home.
Not only is the setting in old times, but the minds of many wives also dwell in the past, back before their husbands gave their lives on the battlefield to defend their country.

This looks amazing, the monochromatic color scheme really lets you take in the full picture. The shading and lighting in this looks wonderful as well!

This is incredible, I love how she's looking out, waiting for her husband to return, yet probably knowing he won't. It paints such an amazing story in your mind, and the colors really give it that old timey feeling. This is wonderful Fading! You've depicted living in the past so well here. Truly inspiring.

This is extremely beautiful. I love the context of your artwork, especially when it was set in the old times. The colour scheme is truly reminiscent of the times of your artwork. How truly astounding!

wow! This looks fantastic! great work! the atmosphere really gives it that "oh my whats going on?" and you look as hard as you can to see. It really keeps your eyes moving, great work!
