Dust clouds are not my forte.
And, as always, after a period of me not being able to draw worth s**t, I make something I like a lot. I swear this happens every time.
Edit: Don't use this as a reference for aged Marcus, it's inaccurate.

Also, coloring the background of your picture before coloring in anything else helps IMMENSELY with making everything look "right" color-wise.

hah I go through periods like that all the time, it doesn't mean your art is worse or anything, it means you've learned and therefore percieve your art as subpar until you've figured out how to apply what you've learned to it. It's a big weird cycle that basically means you're improving, and you did.

This looks like a scene of an animated movie. Incredible job katt! I think this is one of the best you drew. The lighting, color and detail look phenominal. I cant believe my eyes!

the way you draw ponies can look so... human. it's incredible.
and I'm still drawing ponies! literally the only thing I know how to draw is ponies XD I'm so pathetic.
