its copied artwork that most people dont give credit to the real artist and its showing off art thats not creative, special, or honest. we want to see original artwork whether its sucky or profesdional. either way its better than tracing.

Well said, Oskitty; I agree. I have been drawing my whole life and now make my living doing art, so every time I see something that has been traced/copied/stolen it makes me angry. :( It has gotten to the point that you can't post anthing original online because someone will trace/copy/steal it. I no longer will post anything but fanart/doodles online because you can't make any money off of them anyway. But STILL, even though it is a fanart it is WRONG to steal someone elses art, and tracing is stealing even if you say who you took the orginial from. (pluss, if tracing was really alright thats how they would teach you how to draw in school, and no school I ever went to did that.)

i have nothing aganst tracing art to a degree... im even ok with someone posting it as long as they give the original artist credit, but the majority of people who trace and post not only fail to give credit, but also act as if it was an original creation... and that's just not acceptible...
