The two AI's that were controlling the nanites from the mid war to the end. Had used a craft to escape the rovarians grasp. They enter a mysterious worm hole to find a planet for their taking. And luckily for the AI's. RED and KADAVEROUS. They had a firmless nanite globule on board. It was currently under cryostasis until the AI's crashed down into the planet. They activated the nanites. And then they started to grow the stem cells into many more formless nanites. Then years after the alien civillization buckled under the pressure. They now use the aliens as power. By ripping them apart on a cellular scale. And forcing their bodies to rebuild the lost tissues and blood. The AI's are twisted. But they only started to use aliens as power later on in the story. As the nanites slowly changed and became infectious. Once the AI's specify what the nanite globules are going to be. The worst part about them. Is that they can send nanites into space through the ring worm hole ring they use(Con)

The nanites are actually a variety of materials. Mainly composites such as carbon,terrogen and keuronite.

The worm hole ring is what the AI's will use to devastate other alien civillizations. The other odd part of finding these alien monsters. Is by a DNA scan of bio organic material that the nanites are surrounded by. Or tissues of the ivekian donor. You can still trace the DNA back to the donor once the tissues have been scanned. It will always show up in the database. The nanite doctor is still alive too. He just left his homeworld after the war. Many others followed him as well. He found a lightspeed capable alien ship in orbit. Then boarded it. And soon left without any known trace.
