(lost my tablet pen so here's a tutorial)
Yeeeee sorry mates, can't really give much advice on shading! Shading relies almost solely on understanding form, and I'm still struggling to completely understand form myself.
To understand shading/lighting better, I'd suggest doing direct studies. Grab a towel/whatever, and draw what you see! Stack stuff, see how the light changes. Grab a flashlight, check out how light affects shadows. Study about contour!

For self-teaching resources, I'd reccommend:
-CG Concept Cookie (lots of tutorials/livestreams/online community)
-Artstation (pretty much DA for industry artists)
-Drawabox (VERY good exercises!!)
-Concept(.)org (good for getting personalized critiques)
