Backstory: this is in the same universe as undertale, but takes place deeper in the underground than what anyone knows. Long ago, there were two brothers which fought over which side of the mountain to have. one brother was a land guardian, and the other was a sky guardian. The land guardian was a human, and wished to have part pf the sky guardian's half.

The sky guardian refused, saying that the land guardian would not need his part for he had no wings. The land guardian suggested moving the haves to be even if he got part of the sky guardian's half, but still the sky guardian refused.

finally, the land guardian said that he could get wings to fly with his brother in the sky guardian's half for one day, then he would never ask for more. The sky guardian laughed then agreed, but only if the land guardian would get the wings by nightfall. This infuriated the land guardian.

the land guardian said war to the sky guardian, who was comepletely shocked. He told the land guardian to calm himself, but to no provail.

seven knights, three horsemen, five hunters and eight peseants came to the land guardian's side for the battle. The sky guardian had no warriors, but only farmers with mules to ride.

three farmers came to the sky guardian's aid, holding swords of treebranches in their hands.
the fight was short, only one days long. the three farmers were victorious, and the land guardian was defeated. he could not have everything he wished, but he could have listened. the sky guardian came over to finish the deed, raised his might arms high....

then stopped. He lent a gentle hand out to his brother, then proclaimed, "Thou shalt not harm thy own blood." With a start, the land guardian took his hand.

years passed, and the land guardian began to grow weary. His brother stayed by his side as the land king said his final wish. "Brother, you have shown me the way of your kind. I wish to return to you in my next life. Capture my new body in your soul, and teach me another life. Teach me your mind and body."

"I can not." The sky king bellowed. "But you may become one with me now. We shall be one by heart and blood, so we may find the true happiness."

The land guardian agreed, and flung his soul for his brother to catch. The two souls combined, and the strength of the sky guardian doubled. The land was thenfourth watched over by the two brothers, now one for the rest of the town's continuation. And some say, he still watches over that mountain to this day. deep deep inside the mountain....
