Artsy description no one will ever take the time to decipher as hardly anyone remains to do so as everyone drifts away and we lose grasp of each other and one by one we forget each others names, the conversations we've had, and may as well be

f*** everybody because it's never going to get any better, and I hope you see this and I hope you remember me when suddenly it's 2024 and you somehow stumbled back here without cause or reason.

Good god. I'm sure the majority of your grief and frustration here is aimed at something else entirely, separate from Colors, but I'd like to anyway say that I hope things eventually get better for you. This community only becomes more dead if you separate yourself from it, and detach yourself from the people in it, as far as I'm concerned. If you're interested in rejoining it, I would recommend just posting stuff.
Otherwise, though, I hope 2017 behaves itself for you. You're a smart guy with stuff to offer to the world, you know? Don't let the world try to tell you otherwise.

there's only one word that can describe the joy that came from here: ephemeral
often it should stay that way, so the memory can be better, i suppose. nothing lasts, we move on to find the next "fun" thing, as usual. trying to go back to something that's empty to you, expecting to get more from it, is entirely meaningless. (personally i just stopped caring, that's why i shitpost and stalk here. too busy to devote my time to art that's literally smaller in size than a sticky note)
by god ur description is bitter poetry though, bitter because it has truth behind it. and its honest. it hits at home to those who genuinely care. i like it.

Aw man, I know how you feel. A TON freaking lot of my friends have left this place. Some I can't even remember their names. And it discouraged me. I lost likes, I lost commenters, I lost my standing in the community. But sometimes we just have to push through the muck and become the artist we've always aspired to be. I'll always be here if you need a friend. :) And I hope your new year has been nice.
