{In the forest, a group of dragon draugrs comes across Casta's trail and begins to follow him.}

(I don't remember what I was doing XD )

After the conversation with his decased mother, Erwen began fortifying the palace with the lanterns he had been given. He used his telekinesis to place them in places where they'd be out of the way but still serve their purpose.

(I don't remember either, Shadow. ;u;)

{Meanwhile, the Necromancer examines the robot Scratch had destroyed.}"I know someone who can help us understand this machine. I need to go get her. Store this machine in the cavern with the underground lake. If it re-activates, drown it. If Maelstrom tries to take it back, drown him."{The Necromancer begins to leave.}

Grinning faintly, Maldius changes his appearance to be that of the old Aquilam dragon who lost his granddaughter, and forcefully crashes through the building as golden lightning arcs around him. He quickly spots a few terrified dragonets and lunges forward, quickly breaking their necks with his massive paws. The dark dragon in disguise holds up one of the bodies almost triumphantly. "You stole my granddaughter away from me, and now I have taken yours! You miserable Chrysos dogs, did you think we wouldn't take an eye for an eye?!" Maldius lets out a deep, rage-filled roar as a wave of ligtning explodes from him, striking several dragons and setting fire to the building. //Well, Vitis, was that good enough for you?//

(hmmm well last I remember @Fluffy I think our OC are a sleep in the medical wing )

( @Shadow BlackIce was talking with Sherry, give me just a sec and I'll write her response XP

I think Alfred was talking with Nox or something, and I think we just assumed Nitikia was sleeping last time.)

{Vitis tilt his head.}"Yeah, that was pretty convincing. Good. Keep it up!"

Sherry grins up at BlackIce, her fluffy tail swishing happily. "Aquilam dragons are really cool! I've met a lot of Aquilam dragons recently, and all the magic they've shown me has been awesome! One of my friends, Mister Ardens, pulled a pretty gem out of my ear! Can you believe it!?" Despite being hyper-energetic at the moment, she tries to keep still, not wanting to accidentally drop and break the flower that her captor made for her out of ice.

{The dragon draugrs finally catch up with Casta. Spotting him from a distance, one draugr orders the others to surround Casta. As the others move through the forest, the leader approaches Casta slowly.}"Hey there, buddy. What are you doing way out here?"

Blackice chuckle a bit at the enthusiastic little dragon "that does sound like you had quite the adventure in this land..."

{The draugr chuckles.}"C'mon, don't be like that. Don't you want to see Ivy again? I'm sure she's worried sick."{As it approaches Casta, the other draugrs jump out and dog pile Casta.}

Feeling a sudden wave of paranoia, Nitika jolted awake. She anxiously looked around the room, feeling as though someone had been watching her. She sighed, //Calm down... You can't let one ambush get to you...
Now, where exactly am I again?// She thought, pushing aside her panicked thoughts. //Oh yes, that dragon... Ardens, brought us to the medical wing of the palace...
The palace... Wasn't Alfred brought here, too? But, we never saw him here... I hope he's alright.//
She then spotted Gemini asleep on one of the beds.
"Gemini... Hello?" She said, gently nudging Gemini's side with her paw.

Gemini slowly open her eyes and yawned, the White dragon rud her eyes before answering her friend "...Hi" Gemini SAT up on her bed and sigh "how are you doing after everything?..." She ask remember what had recently happened with the attack from her father, and the talk with the mysterious dragon

{The head draugr grabs Casta's head and holds his mouth shut. His gnarled teeth make it rather uncomfortable, however. A few other dragon draugrs hold his tail down while another runs off to get some chains.}"Now, now, stop struggling. You'll only make it worse for yourself."

"I'm fine. Just a little on the paranoid side of things..." Nitika glanced at the door to the room, then back to Gemini, "What about you? Did you sleep well?"

(Sorry, got a little pulled away.)

Sherry bounces over to BlackIce's side and curls up next to him. "Yeah, it's been pretty fun! I got to meet the King of Aquilam, too! Mister Lennox! He's really nice, and he reminds me of my dad, too!"

(Does anyone want to play as the resistance against Maldius? XP )

{The other draugr returns with chains and the group begins to restrain Casta.}

(I'm back, sorry! I may or may not have dozed off)

Gemini rub her arm and then look to Nitika " yes and no... I had a strange dragon come here...He knew about me and my sister... He said we should stop looking for my father....... It would only bring more misery." She look to her friend and sigh " I don't know what to do anymore..."

Black ice snorted in hearing the king and his son names he didn't particular really care for them, they did nothing for him or his wife " you shouldn't be so trusting little one, some only show you what they want you to see on the surface, when in reality their a demon inside...." The black dragon show little expression when he thought of this things

(*gives BlackIce an award for being the world's best hypocrite*)

"I'm not quite sure either..." Nitika said, giving Gemini a concerned look, "I'm sorry that things have turned out this way... But if we're going to accomplish anything, we should stay together.

Speaking of which, weren't we told that Alfred was brought to the palace as well? I haven't seen or heard any sign of him the whole time we've been here...
And he's not easy to miss."

(*slowly claps for BlackIce as he receives his award*)

( @Lilly I shall become those Chrysos dergs!)

A few adult dragons, most likely the parents of the now deceased dragonets let out shrieks of shock and anger as the saw Maldius' attack. The other surrounding Chrysos dragons burst into a frenzy of panic as they tried to put as much distance between themselves and the magic user. Many began crying for help from the guards while others began cursing at the disguised dragon for his actions with bared teeth.

The little bundle of sunshine looks up at BlackIce curiously. "But, Mister Ice, I want to be nice to everyone! Even bad guys! Bad guys want nice friends too, right?"

{In response to Casta's lashing out, a few of the draugrs hit him back. Upon securing the chains, the draugrs begin to drag Casta away.}

Looking around at the chaos and disorder, Maldius throws the dead dragonet he had held towards its mother. "Let this be a lesson to all of you! In the end, it is Aquillam that is the superior tribe, and it is only a matter of time before your pathetic, weak tribe will cease to exist!" Feeling pleased with himself, the dark tyrant spreads his wings, readying himself to leave the burning "happy" cow ranch...

Gemini sign "it's fine, it's better this way...He never wanted me anyways...." Gemini rub the back of her head " I'm not sure we're Al is... They said he was here to." She look around the room and like Nitika said the gray and blue dragon was nowhere to be seen, "maybe he out for a walk? I'm sure he somewhere, he not the time to abandon us"She gets up and heads for the door

Black ice look down at the little puffball he had a small smirk on his face "you my what to be there friend but they may not wish to return the favor..."

{The draugrs drag Casta underground and lock him in a cage. The Necromancer appears from the shadows.}"So, you found him? Let's get him talking."

The mother's screech could be heard over the crowd as more civilians fled the buring cow ranch. Guards were beginning to arrive with spears and weapons at the ready, all poised towards Maldius and his escape.

"Yes, he must be somewhere around here..." Nitika said as she followed Gemini to the door, "But where...? You don't think he left the palace, do you? I feel that the guards wouldn't allow that, since we were all summoned here by the King..."

{Vitis pipes up.}"Hey, now you're sounding too happy. Stay mournful, and only use one kind of magic! They might get suspicious otherwise!"

Sherry snuggles up to BlackIce, curling her tail around herself. "That's ok, though... I know there's not always nice dragons. I remember a dragonet who looked like a crow who was saying mean things to me and mister Xzar! ... He was kinda weird for a dragonet."

{The Necromancer commands his minions. A few leave, but quickly return with a large sacred lamp, standing as tall as a full grown dragon.}"First, the curse must be weakened. Open it."{The draugrs open the lamp and let the light flood the cage. As it contacts Casta, the light begins to burn his cursed form.}

Gemini frowned her face as she walked " that's true...I'm sure he just wrecking Havoc somewhere" she smiled and chuckled a little.

Alfred I'm one of the awnings of the palace looking out towards direction of his home, the gray dragon rub the back of his neck where black ice had bite him in the fight "...I use a lot of energy, and that says something for me..." He chuckled at himself " you lazy dragon"

Nitika couldn't help but giggle at Gemini's statement, "That's for sure. I just hope he hasn't gotten himself hurt..." She looked all around the hallways of the palace, hoping to spot the familiar grey dragon soon.

Maldius narrows his eyes slightly, almost confused. "Mournful...?" he mutters, pondering a moment what it's like to feel that way... has he ever felt mournful? Maybe he never has. ... He can't quite seem to remember. The dark dragon pauses a moment, then looks to the mother of the dead dragonet with a cold gaze as he states, "The agony you feel now is only the same that I felt when /your tribe/ took my granddaughter away from me." Leaping into the air, Maldius fires one last blast of golden lightning at the guards as he escapes through the hole he created in his appearance.

(I would join in, but I have no idea what's going on and what Mac should do :o )

( @Turtlee You should have Mac meet Alfred! He's just sitting around at the moment XP

Maldius and Vitis just raided Uncle Joe's Happy Cow Ranch, Gemini and Nitikia are about to look for Alfred, the Necromancer is curing Casta's Shadow Beast curse, and Sherry is cuddling with BlackIce :p )

(Eh, I'm leaving again. I'll probably be on later, if we don't go to some dumb party around here. I'll try to get back into the plot, but who knows).

Black ice raised his eyebrow "you sure a funny little dragon..." Ice look in a different direction "... You never met a stranger before have you" he chuckle a little at her over optimistic and friendliness

{After a few minutes, the Necromancer orders for the lamp to be closed. Upon it being closed, the Necromancer reaches through the bars and grabs ahold of Casta. He then tears the curse from Casta entirely, and casts it to the far side of the room.}

Most of the guards were able to avoid the worst of the blast leaving the surrounding area damaged by the lightning. The remaining Chrysos dragons watched as the Aquilam dragon escaped and turned to their guards. The guards quickly reformed and began checking over the civilians, one was sent to inform the higher ups and the queen of the events that had just occured.

{The Necromancer approaches Casta while the draugrs destroy the curse with the lamp.}"Can you hear me, Casta?"

(aaaaand I'm pretty much deadbeat tired, so I think I'm going to call it a day and try to get a small nap before I have to leave for a party.)

Alfred was playing with an Apple as he look out across the city, he was deep in thought, this was not his home this was Aquilam and
he was a Chrysos dragon, and one he knew had responsibilities...
Alfred sign //what would you think if you knew I was here... What am I supposed to do..// the gray dragon roll the Apple in his hands and chuckled " Ahhh who am I kidding, worrying gets you nowhere in life Al! " He smiled at himself.

Gemini was making your way through the palace with Nitika " hmmm I'm not sure, I never been here before...But I don't think he has either..." turning around on the corner she spotted the Great Dragon sitting on a Ledge, Gemini smile big " there you are you dork!" She shouted at him.

Alfred Shrek in Surprise throwing the Apple in the air and falling over the edge of the balcony

{The Necromancer speaks.}"Hello. How are you feeling?"

(Ah, man, I love Gemini and Alfred. xD)

Necromancer:"You were cursed by Maldius' lackey. I set you free. Do you know where Maldius is now?"

"Hello, Alfred!" Nitika said, though as she spoke she had a hard time not giggling. "We've been looking for you. Are you alright?"

Sherry lets out a little, happy squeak, she isn't quite sure what BlackIce means by that last statement, but he sounds happy, so she's happy, too.

After getting high enough into the clouds, Maldius turns invisible once again. "Well, Vitis, how well did I do? I think I did a fine job, myself."

Vitis:"You did good. Now, we wait. Let's see what the queen decides to do."

{The Necromancer sighs.}"Well, that's unfortunate. Now that you're uncursed, what will you do now?"

Alfred smiled and said pack up dusting himself off he chuckled " I'm doing good, besides from the mini heart attack, I'm as fit as a fiddle!" He smiled
Gemini raised her eyebrows tap her foot "what are you doing out here? We were looking for you!" She scolds him

Alfred picks up the Apple again and roll it around again in his hands "well you both were still a sleep and I figure the princess needed her beauty sleep" he chuckled and smiled

Gemini face got red and she Puft

{The Necromancer chuckles.}"Well, of course. You're a grown dragon, aren't you? You can make your own decisions. Although, I wouldn't recommend going back out into the forest. If Maldius finds you again, he likely won't be happy with what I've done with you. I could provide you with a safe place to stay until Maldius is caught or killed, if you wish."

"Good... At least that's one more good thing for our cause." As he flies away from Wyrvane, Maldius suddenly feels... odd. Something in the back of his mind is bugging him, something just feels... very wrong, but he can't figure it out. The dark dragon shakes his head, sigh, then states, "We're going back now... I want to make sure BlackIce hasn't turned that yellow fuzzball into a monster while we've been away."

Nitika briefly smiled at Alfred, but her expression soon changed to a more worried look, "Well, I'm glad you're ok, especially after everything that's happened...
Wherever we go next, I'd advise that we try to stay together as best as we can."

{Vitis grins}"I don't know, seeing a yellow puffball monster sounds pretty entertaining."

Necromancer:"Yes, I'm sure. Who I am is of no importance to you. All you need to know is that I am against Maldius and his minions."

{The Necromancer signals his minions, who then open the cage.}"There. No reason to get upset."

As much as Nitika disliked some of what her family had told her in the past, she couldn't help but feel a little homesick. After thinking it over for a moment, she looked up at Alfred and nodded, "That sounds fine to me.
