Style Challenge by GuineaPig24
I tried to draw my child, Aalii, in 6 different styles from artists on Colors.
Feel free to guess who's styles they are (the answer is in the comments)
I'm pretty proud of how this turned out, and I think I hit pretty spot on.
The easiest two to recreate were the top, middle and the bottom, left.
The hardest to recreate was definitely the bottom middle one.
Analysis-
Top
left- This artist's style is very cute and the soft shadows with harsh, white lighting really gives all of the characters a 3D effect. The jagged fur marks really make all the animals look super furry.
middle- Although this art style is very, very detailed, it's not that difficult to draw. It is time consuming, though. This artist does a fantastic job keeping art interesting while also giving everything a mature feel.
right- I just love how sweet the characters look when drawn in this style. They are so expressive and the artist keeps everything very consistent. It's one of my favorite styles just from the cuteness.
Bottom
left- This artist has such a cute, yet creepy style. Sometimes they do use sketchy lines, which I LOVE. In a lot of my older art, I took a ton of inspiration from them.
middle- This style is so simple but very animated. The characters have fantastic expressions and I would love to see a cartoon with their art.
right- This person keeps a very silky and mature looking style. Their anatomy is quite interesting and detailed.
