Varlia the Worafen by CritCorsac

You'd think a simpler art style wouldn't take me so long to draw. Goes to show how out of practise I am at characters with lines!

Anyway, this is Varlia. She's a Worafen and member of the sky bandit group "The Plain Ones". She's often mistaken as the groups leader as she's capable of pulling the strings of the real leader "Morokov". She is the only member capable of spellcasting as most of the others prefer the brawn over brains approach.

Hmm... Looking back, this turned a lot "furrier" than anticipated. I might go back and change the design a bit. What's your guys honest opinion?

Very nice! Outlines have to be very precise and neat, I find cartoons so hard because of this. You did a great job here with the details. I really love that gradual change of blue in the sky, wish I could blend like that

I love the way you drew her, I think I've seen you draw wolfish/animalish humans before? She looks incredible, Iro! :D

Also thank you for all your kind comments, I greatly appreciate it, and yeah I'm very proud of how Orion came out :>

Re: thank you! :)
Haha drawing water is one of my favorite things to do, but I don't seem to draw it very much XD

Thanks for the comments so far. I still feel like I might change the design of this character if I draw them again, even if just a little. When I imagined the world, I did see it in a more cartoonish style than what I usually draw, so I'll still try to practise that some.

She's not overly important to the story I had in mind anyway. I just wanted to get the non-human characters drawn first as there are a few different species I wanted to show.
