Oh man heres another fuzzy oc but, i can explain. He is what is known as an Astral dragon, which, he is a protector of the universe. He needs this much fur to protect against
1. the radiation emited from stars
2. protection against the cold vaccums of space
there are furles Astral but, Emrys had an odd gene which produced the excessive amounts of fur. Continued in comments

I made him almost three years ago and he is about 458 years old, which, for a Nova dragon, is pretty young. Him being a Nova (Nova for short) he ends the lives of stars, creates stars, creates galaxies, he does alot in space. He is a grump and yet the lovable "papa bear" of deadly hybrid children. assassins, general, commanders and soldiers. Emrys lost part of his top jaw protecting his son Maren. He waited several years for it to grow back. All of the red you see on his body is really blood. After a war when he was 50 her took the blood of his fallen commrads, two of which were his high class assassin duaghter Clara and his adopted son Mecha. Emrys was known as Techno, the way up until he lost his muzzle and disappearing. He was known as Aodhmiere (Odd-mere) and, when he got his Nova class, he changed his name to Emrys. The only thing that can kill him and other Nova's are another Nova dragon or something as powerful as the big bang.
