I liked it, although I kinda blasted through it. I haven't played sun so I can't really answer if moon is better. To be honest, though, I do like sun's exclusive pokemon better. That's just my opinion though.

No, not yet. I'm trying to catch all the guardians before I do anything else. I have them all except for Tapu bulu.

Well let me warn you. The UBs are very powerful. And watch out for UB-03. That one's a big threat.
