I couldn't think of any other name to give her. Recently, I've been thinking about seeing Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland in 3D. Of course, painting has nothing at all to do with that movie but, the name sure does fit. :)

Nice to see you posting new paintings. :) I like this one better than the updated version. I think it works better with the muted background... the character "pops" more.

Thank you very much. The mustard background is a throw over from my childhood. Growing up, yellow was my favorite color and in some ways still is. Its the first color I did a gradation of and I gotta admit it turned out pretty nice. I like the unobstructed version much better as well but, I wanted to update it a little. You are right,it does pop more in the original than in the updated version. (Maybe I should have subdued the dots and my sign-on name a bit to throw them into the background. Either way, this one is simple, sweet and to the point. Also, I didn't want to just post an almost identical painting. Therefore...
