Anyways I shall explain, I made a basic sketch, your job is to design the basics or full on details of the species:
-Name
-Gender differences between male and female
-Common colors and markings
-Running speed, amount of pups in a litter, ect.

You must keep:
Spines, Fur, Earshape, Tail, Eyes, 4 Arms and 2 back legs.
Otherwise be creative, have fun! ;3

Quick question, though: When you say that we need to keep the tail, did you mean just have any tail in general (like we can have a bob-tail, or a super fluffy tail?) or did you want one specific style? Also, can the spines become smaller and more quill-like on the females or is that a set feature?
