Akumu's mother was a demon and his father was a yokai. Akumu's name means "nightmare". He isn't completely evil, but he isn't very good either. Despite his father being a yokai, he was very kind and warm hearted. Akumu loved him and mourned his death when his mother killed him. Akumu went blind with anger and turned into his true form.
