@Aggron Yeah they were fun but could get hectic very quickly. Most large rp groups seem to die out fast :T

Hey! Yeah, I've noticed how many people have left since we started. It'd feel even emptier than it already does if anyone else left. Although Kole and Radiant have practically stopped coming... xP

@Griff Yeah, with that many people, odds are that they'll be from different time zones. So, they'll have to leave at different times.

@Fade Yeah, hopefully everyone left will stay. But with different time zones and schedules it can become very difficult.

Also, I may or may not disappear and reappear at random today, we've been having trouble with the Internet today :s

I feel like one of the ways to fix that is to not roleplay for so long every Saturday. Although the plot will seemingly move slower that way, at least people won't miss out when they have to leave. One of the reasons why Maelstrom became so detached from the plot is because I'd leave but everybody would keep going on for several hours more, leaving him in the dust. Because of that, I nearly left TDS on several occasions.

@Lilly: Hey! Our WiFi's been pretty scratchy too recently. xP I hope it won't interfere with your comments! I hate it when I lose the big entries I write due to random disconnections.

Yeah @Fade, I don't really know when they started getting extremely long but I feel like we should definitly start shortening them.

@Griffin: It seems to happen with every roleplay, how they start to go on for so long. I wish that wouldn't happen - it eats up an entire day. xP

@Griffin: Same. With this and another roleplay today and Soledormir's Keys tomorrow, I waste two days that I could've used studying, and because of that it's become harder to keep my grades up. I agree that we end earlier than normal today.

@Lilly: I'm really not sure. I'm completely rewriting Maelstrom's backstory right now, but I think it will still work to add my second character into the roleplay. I'll need a lot more time though because I'm practically recreating him and his story.

{After delivering his message to Gemini, the Necromancer once again becomes a smoky mass and retreats into the hallway, disappearing into the darkness. On his way out, the prowler re-opens the sacred lamp and crawls back up the wall.}

(By the way, @Aggron, I have no idea what Maldius should be doing right now XD )

Gemini sat there on the bed after the Necromancer left she knew she should not look for her father anymore, and that she needed to control her power, she look over at Nikita that was still sleeping and smiled //I have friends now...ones that have done so much for me...maybe I can do the same for them?// but for now she lade down and closed her eyes //but for know I need to sleep...I been in control for too long...good night Teresa...// and with that last thought she fell asleep.

( @Lilly I kind of have the same problem, I left my characters somewhere and I have no idea what to do XD)

Sherry's cheerful attitude fades when BlackIce states that his wife died. The little dragonet's ears fold back as she gets up, follows the black dragon, and hugs his arm. "I'm so sorry, Mister Ice... I didn't know..."

( @Griffin Well, Erwen up anf lost Sherry in the palace, so maybe he could have a panic attack? XP )

@griff Actually, Avatil needs to speak to her son. If you could set the scene, that'd be great. @Lilly well, why doesn't Maldius ask Vitis? He's generally quick with a plan.

Erwen had stopped racing around the palace now that it was completely obvious that Sherry was gone. He came to and stand still in a hallway and rested his head and horns against the wall panting heavily, angry at himself for losing the young dragon.

( @Aggron Alrighty where should they meet up?)

@Griff oops, that actually sounds way funnier. Take your time with that one.

As Maldius calmly glides through the air, observing the land far below, he lets out a long sigh."Well, Vitis, what do you think we should do now?"

Blackice flinched when the little puff ball hug his arm, the black dragon look down at her with a soft smile and tears in his eyes "it's happened long ago,... there nothing that could be done..." he painted the little Dragonette " but we shouldn't talk about sad thing like this... "

Sunny little Sherry looks up at BlackIce and nods. "Ok... uhm... oh, Mister Ice, you wanna see something funny I can do?"

Erwen's frustration built up until he raised a paw, clenched it into a fist and punched the stone wall that he was leaning his head on. Cracks immediately spread from where his paw had made contact. Without any hesitation Erwen whipped around and stormed off, leaving the hole in the wall for someone else to deal with.

{Meanwhile, the Necromancer is in the palace morgue. He raises the young victim from the apothecary shop and asks his minions questions. }"who killed you?"
Victim:"I never saw them. I just felt like I couldn't breathe. Like I was being strangled by metal cables. Then suddenly, I was dead.
Necromancer:"what were their demands?"
Victim:"he wanted an antidote. "
Necromancer:"hmm, ok. Stay here and remain dormant until they bury you." {with that, the victim lies back down on the table and the Necromancer leaves. //I think I know who 's responsible.//}

Blackice look down at the little Dragonette with curiosity "something funny?... sure..."

{Vitis picks up his head.}"Well, now comes the hard part. We've riled up the aquilam citizens, now we need to "convince" some Aquilam dragons to attack people in Chrysos. Those troglodytes fear magic. Just disguise yourself, put on a light show, and kill a few in the process. The only problem is that their guards aren't stupid like the ones in Aquilam. They have ways of finding us through invisibility. We'll have to be careful. "

{From behind Erwen, Avatil speaks. }"You lost that poor girl, didn't you?"

Grinning, the little dragonet bounces a little ways away from BlackIce, then turns to face him again. "Ok, are you ready? Watch this, Mister Ice!" Sherry declares with a squeak, and then begins rubbing her wrists together as quickly as she's able to. A few sparks fly at first, but suddenly, all the fur on Sherry's body stands out on end, turning Sherry into a literal fuzzball with hands and feet. "Ta-daaa!" she proudly squeaks.

Erwen pauses and turns his head slowly to face his undead mother. "Yes...I did." Each sound came out more like hateful growls than actual words. His eyes were narrowed and his claws were almost digging into the floor.

{Avatil sighs.}"Well, I guess I came too late. But, better late than never. Here."{With a nod of her head, a dragon draugr approaches from the darkness with a large bag. It empties the contents to reveal dozens of sacred lamps, varying in sizes.}"No illusion magic can withstand the light. Find her Erwen. Find Maldius and end this."

"Hmmm... so the guards of Chrysos could see through my magic...?" Maldius ponders, "So we'll just need to keep a lookout for any guards, that's all?"

Vitis:"No, not see, not necessarily. They're crafty. They all carry satchels of sticky pigment. If they suspect someone's invisible, they'll throw one into the air and let the contents fall, tagging anyone who they can't see. Also, being a group who fought nothing but magic users for hundreds of years, you can bet they have plenty of tricks up their sleeves."

Erwen looked at Avatil with a faint look of confusion. "I thought you wanted everything to stay peaceful and solve this diplomatically. I wouldn't expext you to take action." He nudges one of the smaller laterns gently with a claw, the ticked off expression still evident on his face.

Blackice watch the little yellow dragon turn into a big puff ball as she rub her wrists together, he chuckled and clapped his hands together " Bravo ,bravo little one, that was most impressive!" He smiled

{Avatil shakes her head.}"No, I wanted you to settle everything concerning Chrysos with diplomacy. A war between Chrysos and Aquilam cannot be allowed to happen. But, Criminals like Maldius must still be brought to justice. As long as he is free, you and all of your people are in grave danger."

The cursed dragon king turns to the south, pumping his massive wings. "We'll just have to outsmart them, then, and with you on my side, I doubt that will be too hard. Now, where is the capital of Chrysos?"

Erwen growled. "Saying that is easier than accomplishing it." He uses his telekinesis to pick up all of the laterns. "How exactly do these lanterns work? How were they created?" Erwen looked at them with a spark of interest in his eyes.

{Vitis points slightly west.}"That way. You can't miss it."

Sherry beams with joy, immensely happy that she made BlackIce chuckle. "Hee-hee-hee! I think Adrianne called it 'static elastic-city', or something like that! I've gotta be careful, though, I don't want to zap anybody!"

(Ohhh someone not going to like what those two are doing e.e)

{Avatil replies calmly.}"I didn't say it'd be easy. But, Maldius just can't seem to stay away. Next time he's around, open that and shine it around. Any illusion he conjures will crumble. How it works and how they're made is a closely guarded secret kept by an ancient league of daedra hunters who reside across the sea. Luckily, I bought these from a merchant who didn't know what they were and hid them, just in case some thing like this happened."

(Note: This is a lie. Ardens brought these lamps back with him upon returning to Argo.)

Maldius flies in the direction indicated, and eventually reaches Wyrvane. Stopping himself to hover just above the city, the dark dragon looks down at the different shops. "... Vitis, what kind of a place is 'Uncle Joe's... Happy Cow Ranch?'"

Erwen gave his mother an unsatisfied look but cast it aside. He made sure the lanterns were far from the ground to avoid any damage. "I'll have them placed around the palace, any extras can be given to trustworthy dragons to hold on to."

{Vitis chuckles.}"Oh, that place? It's a slaughterhouse for cows/restaurant. They 'guarantee' their customers that the cows are happy up to the point where they are killed and eaten, to help with their own conscious. Have you ever approached a cow, Maldius? Just the sight of us terrifies them. Trust me, the cows in that place are anything but happy."

{Avatil nods.}"Good. And if anyone asks, you tripped over a box in the attic and found them. I'd rather that no one else knows about me."

Maldius furrows his brow, wondering what a "cow" is to begin with. //It sounds like some kind of creature... something that dragons eat...? They don't sound dangerous, at least...// "... I don't think I've ever seen a 'cow' before, Vitis," the purple dragon mutters quietly.

{Vitis tilts his head.}"No? Really? They're white with black spots, the boy ones are called bulls and they have horns. Ring any bells?"

Erwen nodded. "Yes I don't believe the people would agree to having undead dragons wandering around." He looked very closely at one of the lanterns before turning to Avatil again. "What happens if one of these breaks?"

Blackice chuckled " static electricity, and I'm sure you're very careful Little one" Ice smiled then took his paws together and blowed cold air inside the, he brought his hands down to Surrey and opens them revealing a Frozen ice sculpture flower to her. "This is my Magic trick"

Sighing and shaking his head despairingly, Maldius replies, "No, I can't remember ever seeing anything like that... are cows something that normal dragons see very often?"

{Avatil turns to leave.}"Only the box can be destroyed, not the stone held within. Should the box break, forge another one out of lead. Also, Thesseus told your father this, but I think you killed him before he could pass it along. Maldius has five distinct weaknesses: Poisons, Paralysis,Dark magic, Telekinesis, and Light Magic. Use them against him."

"Oooooooh, it's so pretty!!!" Sherry squeaks, bouncing back to her captor, the static electricity in her fur gradually calming down. "It's so pretty..." the little dragonet repeats as she gazes at the ice sculpture, carefully and delicately holding it in her hands. "You have magic too, Mister Ice? That's awesome!"

{Vitis shakes his from side to side.}"Eh, well, Chrysos dragons, yeah, Given the number of ranches they have around here. They're probably a rare sight for Aquilams though."

Erwen nodded but held a slight glare at her added comment. "Very well." He turned to leave as well without addressing Avatil again. Erwen already had several places in mind on where to place the lanterns and didn't want to waste anymore time.

"... And, adding onto that is the fact I've been in the Frozen Wastes for one hundred years... I don't suppose cows are something you see there." Pausing a moment as he wonders what life might've beem like if he were born a normal dragon, Maldius then lowers himself somewhat closer to the shop. "Do you think we ought to stir up trouble in this place, or somewhere else?"

Blackice chuckled and look up "I am an Aquilams Dragon after all, ice Magic is my specialty"
(Ok I have to go get something to eat now be back in a while )

{Avatil and the dragon draugr disappear down the hall.}

{Meanwhile, the Necromancer arrives at his lair, only to find the draugr commander and Minos in poor shape and looking rather angry.}"Woah. What happened to you two?"
Commander:"Erm, that's a bit...difficult to explain....Well, there we were, kicking Maldius' sorry rear end, when all of a sudden, Maelstrom comes down from the sky with these indestructible robots, and....we lost Maldius..."
{The Necromancer gives a highly displeased look.}"Well, I ran into them too during the day. Water is their weakness. Next time they show up, force them into the river." {Minos chuckles at this. Suddenly, a dragon draugr runs up to them.}"Master! Look at this!"{The draugr produces the head of the robot that Scratch killed.}"What? Where did you find this?"
Draugr:"Up on a nearby ridge. And that's not the best part. Bring in the rest!"{Another dragon draugr brings in the rest of the robot.}

(Perhaps we should wrap this up soon and continue next week?)

{Vitis nods.}"I don't see any guards here. Sure, why not. But, just make yourself look like that old guy who's grand daughter I killed and say something about getting revenge. Ooooh, and, go for the little ones and say something about an eye for an eye!"
