How would I dare to complain about A GIFT that you were kind enough to offer me? Really I completely understand you got other stuff to do, I can wait, don't stress about it
Re: I get you. But really if they start to become pushy about fanart that you don't have time and energy for at the moment and they keep pinning you down about it, they don't deserve the art. They didn't pay you for it, they didn't give you art for it and even if they did fanart for you (like me) they should NEVER force you to make art for them. Because you didn't ask for the fanart, fanart shouldnt be an obligation to make something in return. Fanart is fan art. Art you make for someone because you admire them, like their art and characters or just like them as a person. It's an act of kindness and if you end up don't having time for it or you got other stuff to draw that is fine. You always come first. Remember that. Don't let people treat you like a machine. I've been on both ends. I've been pushy but that was like in 2012 when I was very new to this internet community thing and I still had to learn. Couldn't even properly speak english heh (im dutch). But I've grown past that now.
(holy shat sorry for rambling but let me add this little thing)
For example there are some amazing artist I follow that have offered to make me art because I won their raffles (here on colors to clarify), but in the end they haven't drawn anything but it's fine with me because a. They are very busy with their own projects and b. I didn't really pay them at all. Just ended up lucky. And I'm happy as it is to see their amazing style and art and projects and characters
ANYWAY IM GONNA STOP BORING YOU NOW WITH MY RAMBLY RAMBLES SORRY ABOUT THAT
