Sherry looks around cheerfully at the large room, then starts bouncing towards another hallyway, but being careful not to jump too much because of her injury. "Prince Erwen, what's down thiiiiss waaaayyy?"

Maldius steps back to give BlackIce room enough to get up, but he still wears a cold, displeased look on his face. "We need to return to the city... but if you lose control of yourself again, I doubt I will be so eager to rescue you again. Do //not// disappoint me again, BlackIce."

Nitika smiled nervously at Gemini, "I'm glad you're ok...
A-and yes, a few other dragons joined the fight as well.
...I hope they're alright."
She briefly glanced in the direction of the palace, then back to Gemini, "...Who was that dragon who attacked you? Do you know?"

{Ardens gets up after being thrown off of Blackice by Maldius. His eyes have reverted to the the usual black and red colors, signaling that his strength has returned. He makes his way down the street towards Teresa/Gemini.}

Blackice bowed lower "YES MASTER I'M SO SORRY!!"he cry out "I swear on my wife's grave it won't happen again!!" He had tears rolling down his face.

Alfred nodded at Noxaura " ok if say so" he chuckled, then sat down and was examining the extent of the Damage Done during the scuffle "Ahh man not another one broken!" He grumbled and start to dig thought his bag.

Gemini look at Nikita and then down the street nervously "what...what do you think happened?...should we go back?"

{Silently, the invisible Vitis creeps behind Sherry, carefully waiting to kidnap her the moment Erwen either loses sight of her or doesn't pay close enough attention.}

Erwen followed Sherry's bouncing, keeping a close eye on her to be sure she wasn't hurting herself more. He looked towards the hallway she was questioning about. "Most of the rooms down that hall are used for management of the tribe and what not."

Gemini look at Nikita and then down the street nervously she rub her arms and look down "that was my father..."she Whispers ashamed of him and herself

{Ardens walks up to Gemini and Nitika, having heard whatnthey said.}"You're father must be quite hateful, to attack his own daughter like that. Are you ok?"

Noxaura looked over to Alfred with a curious expression. She made her way to him slowly, keeping weight off her injured paw as she approached him. "Something's broken? Do you need assistance in any way?"

"...That was what I was afraid of..." Nitika said quietly. "Why would Blackice attack you...?" She mumbled, her expression shifting to worry, "...If you don't mind me asking..." She added.

The sudden appearance of Ardens caused Nitika to jump a little, but then she recognized him, "...Oh, you're one of the dragons who helped fight...
T-thank you for that... I'm not sure we could've gotten away if it weren't for you..."

{Ardens nods at Nitika.}"Don't mention it. So, who was that?"

Alfred had a cheerful smiled "oh, I just spring a leak that's all" he holds up his arm and the blowing yellow liquid is from the broken tubes on it. He takes his fingers over the metal paneling and ruins appeared removing the metal surface of his arm exposing the wires, tubes and other things, he started to fiddle with some of the knobs and turns off the flow of the glowing liquid on that side of him. " yes, I should be okay I just have to replace a few things" he pointed at Noxaura foot "but are you sure your ok? I can help you if you like?" He ask

Muttering foul words under his breath the entire way, Maelstrom flew back to his home in the caves and landed heavily in its entrance, torn wing finally giving out under his weight. His robotic companion dropped down beside him, not speaking a word. "Stupid castle reptiles and meddlers, mocking me like that," the cyborg hissed as he lumbered through the cave network and into a cavernous room lit by an orange glow. The walls of the cave were adorned with a large variety of tools and items, and on the stone floor stood hundreds of golden machines, contraptions, and other unique creations which he had forged during his years of exile. Maelstrom gazed into a large pool of blazing, liquid fire - the source of the light in the cavern and where his indestructible body had been forged. He flicked his tailtip and his companion immediately shut itself down, the light in its eyes fading. "Indestructable... What a lie."

Noxaura shook her head. "You don't need to do that, it's only a sprain." She looked at wires and tubes in fascination before speaking again. "If you need help with replacing items I'm sure we could help supply them. You helped us fight off that dragon, it's the least we can do."

Gemini was unsure of the appearance of the new dragon, but Nikita said he helped her.
Gemini look away from them "he's my father...the one who raised us..." she stop herself realizing she said us not me " Me..." she shifted uneasy "but I never thought he would be this way, he seems different, more angrier then I seen him before" she rub her arms

Narrowing his eyes and letting out a low growl, the cursed dragon king spreads his massive wings and takes to the sky once more, becoming invisible to all but his faithful servants. "BlackIce, keep a lookout for any sign of trouble. If Vitis ends up getting caught, things could turn... sour."

{Ardens tilts his head at the "raised us".// Yup, this is her, the "parasite". She doesn't seem dangerous.//}"Heh, I knew he was your father, you said that earlier. What I want to know is where you two live and the name of your father."

Sherry turns her head to smile at Erwen while she walks. "Oooh, how do you manage a tribe, Prince Erwen? Can you tell me?"

Nitika shifted a bit closer to Gemini. //Is this dragon trustworthy? He helped us earlier, but I never saw him until Blackice appeared... Why does he want this information?//
She gave Gemini a concerned look as thoughts whirled around in her mind.

Alfred smiled and started to get to work on repairing himself, he pulled out a hold tube and replace the one that was broken. He chuckled "thanks for the offer, but I didn't do it for anything in return, it's just what I do" he looks though his bag and pulled out a little red box and opens it revealing the yellow vials inside, he takes one out and exchanges it with the empty one in his arm."though I might need some more supply soon.." he frowned his face looking over his stock of supplies.
He looks up at her "oh,with all this fun and excitement I didn't get your name! " he holds out his other hand "I'm Afraid " he said carefully

(Sorry, got pulled away. On a random note, I'm working on redesigning Maelstrom as well as rewriting his bio, as both were rushed and/or lack depth.)

Blackice "yes! Master!! It will be done!!" He shouted he look at a bird with cold eyes " you heard that no funny business!! " he takes to of his fingers and pointed at his eyes and then to the bird "I'm watching you!"

The bird just tilts its head at the crazy black dragon

Macgyver walked behind Sherry and Erwen, glancing around at the walls rather nervously.

Erwen paused in thought, he didn't expect Sherry to ask a question like that. "Well there's plenty that goes into watching over a tribe." He looked at the ground awkwardly. "I don't know if I can really explain it in words but a leader's priority should protect everyone."

Noxaura nodded "That is very noble of you. At least let me help you with restocking your supplies, to show our gratitude." She paused to look down at the extended hand before raising her own and shaking Alfred's. "It's a pleasure to meet you Alfred, with all the fighting I must have forgotten manners as well, my name is Noxaura." She spoke with a faint smile on her face.

(lol BlackIce is so funny XD )

Maldius ignores his servant's words as he flies back into the city, using the magic in Vitis' collar to find the closest location to the serpent. He lands on a tall spire of the palace, his long, thorny tail curling around the spear-like structure. //This seems like a good enough of a place to wait...// the dark dragon ponders, twisting his neck around to make sure that BlackIce followed him.

Gemini was unsure of this new dragon and why he was asking about this thing, 'but then again her father did just attack them in broad daylight, but on the other hand if they new the truth would her and her sister be punished? Or worse killed?' These were the thoughts running through her mind. She finally said "we live here in Aquilam, but I'm not sure where exactly,...as for my Father he goes by the name Blackice, now I answered your questions, so here are mine who are you? And why are you asking these things?"

"That sounds nice," Sherry replies, her mind going back to the dragons that have protected her. "I like dragons who keep others safe, dragons like Mister Xzar..." The little dragonet almost seems a tad bit saddened at her last thought, but she's quickly distracted as she hops ahead and enters another room. "Oooh, what's in heeerrreee?"

(Oh hay I have to help my brother move some stuff I will be slow )

{Suddenly, a guard runs up to Erwen.}"My Liege, it's happened again! Another dragonette has been attacked just outside the palace!" {The guard is so distracted by this news that he doesn't even notice almost stepping on Sherry.}

Erwen redirected his gaze to the room Sherry was running into now. "I believe that is where the documents on trade with Chrysos are stored. Just lists of items and materials bought by each tribe." He stops and turns to the guard that has just burst in. "What? Do you know who the attacker was, and if the dragonette brought to the infirmary?"

(Yeah I can stay for a bit, I don't leave till 7:00 EST)

Sherry squeaks and quickly gets out of the guard's way as she listens to the news he brings. //Someone else got hurt? Oh no!//

{Ardens chuckles at Gemini's concern.}"Ah, where are my manners? My name is Ardens, Count of Aquilam. As a Count, it's my duty to protect the citizens of my clan whenever I can, especially the youths. I ask these questions because the king will want to know."

Maelstrom stepped up to the hibernating machine. Extending a hand, he hooked a claw around one of the tubes connecting the wing to the body and yanked, easily snapping it in two. Steam hissed from the severed tube. "Pathetic... That grounded lizard managed to take my soldier down with a single blade," he muttered with a scowl. "There has to be some way to remove these weaknesses.... Covering them with metal would create a paradox; it limits movability and weighs the body down. I'd have to make bigger wings to sustain the change, and that would require bigger installations, few of which would fit inside the system." Expression hardening as his mind slipped into deep concentration, Maelstrom paced in front of the fiery lake, its orange light glistening on his golden mechanical parts. Then he paused and looked back at the hibernating robot, an idea rising up in his head. "Hmmm..."

{The guard offers only stutters as an answer. Vitis sees his opportunity and acts. With the very end of his tail he constricts Sherry, holding her mouth shut, and brings her into the illusion. //Got 'er! Time to head to the exit!//}

Sherry's eyes widen, and she tries to scream, but with an invisible force covering her mouth, she can't. She struggles and tries to make as much noise as she possibly can, her heart racing now with panic. //Something's got me!! Mister Prince Erwen!! Mister Mac!!! HELP ME!!!//

Alfred chuckled and rub the back of his haed with his other hand and smile "it as nothing! The least I could do!" His hand that shocked Noxaura glowed a little making her pain fade "it's my pleasure to meet you Noxaura " he let go of her hand and look around "though I should look for my friends..." his ears swivel back and forth trying to pick up anything but the noise of the city was drowning out any sound of them.

Gemini move closer to Nikita //so he's a member of the Count of Aquilam...and the king is going to hear about this....// "so now what are you going to do Ardens?" She ask

{With Sherry in tow, Vitis races through the halls. Reaching a window with a tree right outside, Vitis uses it to reach the streets below.}

Noxaura nodded her head and motioned towards the street that Nitika and Gemini ran down. "I saw two young dragons running from the fight, they headed in that direction. Would they be your friends by any chance?"

As a plan began to boil in his head, Maelstrom stepped up to a panel on the body of the robotic dragon and opened it up. Inside was a rather small compartment with a very basic system of gears and pistons, with no wires or generators to make the machine run. Instead, in a different compartment, where a furnace blazed - the "heart" of the robot - Maelstrom's magic resided, controlling each limb and every movement of the body. And lining the walls of this compartment were several tubes, acting almost like a nerve system to allow the magic to reach all parts on the body. The few mechanisms installed were merely there to assist in movement to lessen the use of magic. However, with a new plan in mind, Maelstrom reached inside the box and grasped the machinery, ready to tear them out. "No more machinery. You will run solely on magic." And with that, he ripped the contents out, letting them clatter to the stone floor.

(Maelstrom: SHERRYYYYYYYY!! *races toward Aquilam with dramatic music playing* I'M COMING FOR YOU!!)

Erwen growled and turned to address Sherry but noticed she had disappeared. Without giving a word to the other dragons around him he rushed out of the room and bolted down the halls trying to find a trace of her nearby.

Alfred put his stuff away and need some the gears in his arms making the flow of the glowing liquid move one again, he then closed the panel on his arm "I bet my bottom dollar that was them!" He smiled "I just hope there all right"

Maldius "watches" Vitis' escape with his magic and quickly leaps off the stone spire, swooping down and snatching up the plumed serpent in his claws. "Ice, come on! We've got what we came for!"

Tears start running from Sherry's eyes as suddenly she finds herself flying away, yet unable to move, and not hearing anything. She watches the palace get farther and farther away, then closes her tear-filled eyes. //Please don't hurt me... please don't hurt me... Mister Xzar, why did you have to leave me...?//

(Sherry: Mister Xzar...! TAT )

{Ardens sighs.}"Well, I oughta tell the king what I know. But, you're in grave danger. And being a child without a guardian..."{Ardens picks Gemini up gently by the scruff of her neck}"...We'll need to keep you safe. Also, we'll need to get those wounds looked at."

( @Lilly: I was about to sit back and watch for the rest of the session, but are you indicating that you want Maelstrom to rescue Sherry?)

( @Fade Nope, she's not getting rescued anytime soon >:3 )

Nitika stayed silent as Gemini and Ardens spoke. //So, he's a Count? He should be relatively trustworthy then...//
When Ardens lifted Gemini, she looked worried, "Um..." She started, but stopped herself. //We were headed to the palace anyways, and we'll most likely be safer there...//

Blackice following behind his master //what is so important about this Dragonette?// he pondered as he flew and almost hit a bird "What it with these flow creature!" He glowed

Gemini eyes widened when Ardens pick her up she very much want to get away, but knew she better not try. "If you incest..." she said to the much bigger dragon.
She curled her back end up like a kitten and just hung there looking at Nikita with a not amused look and sigh

Snapping out of his day dreams, Mac realized that Sherry was gone. "Sherry? SHERRY?"

(Hey @Shadow, you might want to correct that word to "insist"... Just saying. 'XD)

{Upon being scooped by Maelstrom, Vitis nearly yells.}"Wha- Oh. Flawless timing, if I do say so myself."

(I think Aggron's thinking about what Maelstrom's going to do when he finds out about this... XD )

Maldius chuckles at Vitis' remark. "What did you expect?" the dark dragon asks as he flies away from Solaris, then pauses a moment. "Vitis, I don't think we ought to take her to our new lair, just on the chance she escapes... It would be quite horrible if she lead others to our hideout, and I don't want to lose another lair."

Seeing Gemini's unhappy expression, Nitika lowered her head a little. "...Sorry." She muttered quietly.

She quickly followed Ardens into the palace, feeling incredibly nervous once again. She kept her gaze locked to the floor as she walked beside him.

{Vitis nods.}"Alrighty. What are you going to do with her then?"

Gemini was still unpleased but she answered "... Teresa" she lied, but she knew when her sister wakes up, it would be better for her if everyone just thinks there only one of them. "Where are you taking us?" She ask

"Hmmm..." Maldius goes quiet a moment, thinking what he could do with his prisoner. "... Maybe we could drop her in some cold, dark cave and leave BlackIce with her?"

(I think I'm gonna call it quits for today, guys.

Ardens:"To the head of the infirmary staff, Azureus."
Vitis:"Sure, if you want."
(And that's time for me. Just assume that Vitis stays with Maldy, that Ardens goes somewhere after informing Erwen of the stuff, and that Azureus is super mad about Erwen and Mac losing Sherry. Bye!)

Blackice "....now I'm a babysitter " sigh //it's not like I can't take of kids I mean I take care of my own daughter after all//

Maldius grins and looks over to BlackIce as they fly. "BlackIce, Argo's craziest babysitter... I think that's fitting." Spotting a cave entrance in a snow-covered mountain, the dark dragon descends toward it, releasing Vitis and taking Sherry from him. "Listen closely, BlackIce... I don't want her to die, and I don't want you to turn her into some crazed beast... not yet. At the same time, I do not want you to show her mercy and kindness..." Maldius carries the terrified dragonet into the relatively small cave, then throws her to the back of the wall, creating a thick wall of ice around her and forming a horrific cell with his magic. "Say nothing about me to her, do not mention my name. If you fail me this time, and something happens to her, I will hunt you down and burn you alive. Have I made myself clear?"

Maldius nods his head, dispelling the illusion magic he had used to make BlackIce invisible. "Good. Now, get to it. I'll be back to check on you sometime tomorrow." Spreading his massive wings, the dark dragon allows Vitis to climb onto him once more as he leaps into the air, quickly disappearing from BlackIce's sight.

Sherry hit the wall with a thud, pain shooting through her as her injured side reopens and starts bleeding a little. The tiny dragonet curls up against the wall, crying and shivering with pain, fear, and cold. //I'm scared... I'm so scared...// When she opens her eyes, Sherry finds herself trapped in a cramped, icy prison, black as night and with only a small opening in the far side of the wall. Half afraid of what she might see, but more curious to see where she is, Sherry drags herself to the opening and tries looking outside. "H-h-hello...? Is anyone out there...?" she nervously calls.

Blackice figure his master left
And sat down, but when he heard the little yellow Dragonette speak he look over his shoulder at the makeshift cell "shhhh, nope no one here" he said then turn back and watch some birds fly

".... But if no one's there... who said 'no one's here?'" Sherry quietly asks, her ears perking up only in the slightest. //Whoever he is... he doesn't sound like a bad guy... but...//

Blackice was watching the scenery " nobody said nobody here, so there for I'm nobody," he pick up a leaf and let the wind carry the way
" just a voice on the wind nothing more nothing less"

( @Shadow I replied in the Ultra Secret Chat, by the way *wiggles eyebrows*)

Sherry tilts her head slightly. "Sooo... your name is 'Nobody?'" Flinching in pain, the dragonet curls up beside the cold wall and sniffles a bit. "Mister Nobody, my side hurts... I think it's bleeding again..."

Blackice "nobody have no names, so I have no name" tilted his head "your bleeding?....it's probably not that bad....are you sure your bleeding and not something else? Like maybe you bumped into it the tomato or pant or something?"

"I-it really hurts... Mister Nobody..." Sherry whines, crying quietly to herself as she shivers.

Blackice sigh and got up and walk to the little window and peek in on the little Dragonette. "I'm not supposed to be nice to you, we'll your not going to die are you? " Ice bit his fingers in panic //what if she dieing and them master will be mad! But if I help her and them master finds out I was nice master will be mad! But if she is dieing and I'm not nice then master will be mad to become I didn't take care of her!...why does master what her anyway? Oh well best not to question master that get him mad to!//

Sherry doesn't get up when BlackIce walks over to the cell, and keeps crying. "I don't know... I-I hope I'm not dying... I don't wanna die..." Pulling her body into a smaller-sized ball, the little prisoner cries louder as she thinks about her friends and her guardians. "I'm scared... it's so dark, so cold here... Why'd you bring me here, Mister Nobody? I wanna go back to the palace with P-Prince Erwen a-and Mister Mac... I want to see Mister Xzar again... Can you please let me go...? Please...!"

Blackice started to panic //AHHHH! Maybe she is dieing!! It won't hurt it I go in would it? This is ice Magic so I can open it, but will master fine out? Will he get mad? She won't get away will she? If she did master well be VERY MAD///"I don't know why, nobody get to know those kind of thing, but I know one thing you have to stay here, but..."
Ice put his hands on the wall and made the ice open up for him
and he poked his head in to better look at the little Dragonette "...if you don't do anything, like try to excape I can see what I can do for your injuries..."

Sherry looks up as the mysterious dragon opens and walks into the prison cell, but she makes no move to escape... or get up, for that matter. "Ok... I won't try to get away... It's my side that hurts, Mister Nobody, something that you couldn't see attacked me and hurt me there today... but my friends saved me. When I got thrown into here, I hit the wall and now it's started bleeding again..."

Blackice raised an eyebrow "ok I'm going to trust you little one.." he look around at the small space and lower himself inside the best he could "...you say again? We're you bleeding before?" He pulled his bag around and got out a few things "I don't know what it was, I mean if you can't see it, you can't see it"

"I wasn't bleeding before then, something just came and stabbed me with something sharp... it was really scary..." Moving around slightly to allow her captor to see her injury better, Sherry observes BlackIce in the faint light coming from the opened cell. //He's a big black dragon... I think... or maybe he's blue? But he's definitely a somebody, not a nobody! ... I'm just glad he's not Maldius... or M-Ma'vare...//

Blackice look at the yellow puff ball "sounds really scary..." he got out some wrap and carefully started to bandage the little Dragonette just trying to keep the conversation away from Maldius Ice start talking about something else "I know of a young Dragonette she get cut all the time, so I have gotten pretty good at fixing things like this " he said as he working on treating her injuries.

(Sorry if I'm super slow just trying to get some of the stuff f one for tomorrow xp)

Sherry closes her eyes tightly and tries not to cry more as BlackIce bandages her wound. "Y-yeah...? Who's that...?" she asks, after the pain eases up slightly.

Blackice smiled faintly "your welcome little one" he put his stuff away "what is your name?" He ask

The sunny little fluffball's smile grows wider. "My name's Sherry! I'm from Chrysos! What's your name, Mister?"

Blackice chuckled a "I really don't know Sherry , but I have to keep you here..." Ice seen her scoot closer and he opened one of his wings for her, then look down in thought "sometimes bad things just happen to good people, sometimes it's not even there fault...." he voice faded at the end

Sherry curls up in a ball beside BlackIce, her soft fur pleasantly warm, like a ray of gentle sunshine. "... Mister Ice... you won't let anything bad happen to me... right...? You won't let the bad guys come get me and hurt me...?"

(Sherry's problem is that she's too clingy, as you can see, she'd try to cuddle with any villainous OC XD )

Blackice look up "yes it's a very funny name isn't it!" He chuckled nervously "you must like other things right? Puppy's? Honey drops? What do you like?" He asked just trying to get her off topic

"Oooh, I like sand, and adorable little animals, and nice dragons, and flowers! I like honey drops, too, they're my favorite!" Sherry declares, BlackIce's tactic working well. "I also like making things, like blankets--I'm really good at making them!--and I also like making music, and thunderstorms! What sort of things do you like, Mister Ice?"

After Ardens dropped Gemini off at the Infirmary to get her wounds treated (just going to say Nikita sleeping ) Gemini could not sleep though she needed to, she needed to let her sister wake up. She sat on the bed and held her arms //he will come again, but why did he attack like that? He hurt me before, but he was different this time...//

(Can you work with that or do I need her out side?)

Blackice listen and smiled " those are all nice things" he thought for a moment before answering her "I like study things... I like the ocean the sound of the waves crash and the smell of the air, I like the cold and snow,...I like being with my family.... i...I love the way my wife smiled and laugh...." he paused remembering the thought with sadness

{From the ceiling of the infirmary, a prowler crawls down the wall and closes the sacred light. From the hallway, a thick, black smoke-like mass enters the room. It materializes into the Necromancer, who approaches Gemini.}"Teresa, or Gemini? To whom am I speaking?"

Sherry smiles cheerfully, not catching onto the black dragon's grief. "That's all wonderful, Mister Ice! You're married? Aww, that's sweet! What's your wife's name?"

Gemini stumbled back off the bed she was on, startled by the Necromancer is dramatic appearance, she peered over the edge of the bed looking at the black armor dragon , she narrowed her eyes //who is this guy and how does he know about us? // the young White dragon bold steps forward and looks up at him with her fiery yellow eyes " Gemini is the one speaking now, but how do you know about us?" She ask raising a eyebrow.

"Serene...." The black dragon said and he gets up and walk over to the edge of the rocks, he looks up at the sky "...but she die a long time ago...."

(I hate to say it, but I need to get going, I have to be up early tomorrow :/ )

{The Necromancer produces Blackice's diary.}"Your father has studied you in great detail. He seems to think you're a parasite. However, you seem to be a rare form of conjoined twins fused by dark magic, the result of which is a single body inhabited by two different souls. Gemini look away as the Necromancer spoke "so you know what I am... " she looks at her hands "I can control them to some extent, but if I need the energy they come out to feed for me..." she put her hands down "we were looking for are father we where told he was in the frozen waste, but we did not know where, so we came here to look for Clues..." she said glanced over at him

{The Necromancer puts the diary away.}"Learn to control them. Your magic is linked to your strength of will. As for your father, pursue him no more. He is working for Maldius now. You will find nothing but pain with him."

Gemini sigh " if it was only so easy...." she glanced down "he is all she knows, and if we don't look for him, it will come for me again...."

Necromancer:"But, if you find him, he will most likely kill you. If you truly care for Teresa, or yourself, you better stop looking for him."

Gemini knew that he said was true her father wanted her died, and the way he attack her he didn't seem to care if Teresa died to. The white dragon shook her head "... what ypu say is truth, I will stop searching for him,*she paused * but what will happen to us now?" She ask

"Now, I suggest you work on controlling your powers and stay away from your father. You seem to be close with the little drake (Nitika) and the artificial one (Alfred). Keep them close. Now, I must go."

Gemini nodded her head "I will try to control my powers" she thought of Nikita and Alfred the first to call her friends "I will " she look up at the Necromancer "thank you..." she turned her head away she was going to ask about her father fate but stop.
