Quick Draorture sketch. The results for the Christmas contest will be up by tomorrow!
(Also, anyone know a better way I can draw throat/chest plating on dragons? The method I'm using here is hard to do and looks bad (to me at least).)

I know a way to get around the awkwardness of drawing neck plates, but I don't know if i'd be able to explain it in words... I could try something like a redline tutorial, or if you'll give me some time, I can try to come up with an understandable explanation.

I could try and sketch something for you, I get they're tricky and I'm not the most experience with dragons but I can try some doodles for you
