I always make the designs before doing anything else. It takes a load of mental gymnastics to make believable reasons that justify the details, but doing it the other way around takes me forever to finally agree on a design that fits the character. It is interesting to see it done the other way around, though.

Re: Thank you. It's probably because I drew someone elses character. I always try to match their style a bit. Also, that was my third attempt at drawing that character. I tried doing it with lines but that didn't look very good and so I just left out all the lines.

I have really considered getting rid of my characters because they don't have any backstories or anything and I never draw them anyway hmhm
