Since ol' Nightinger is basically a more subtle, less Power Glove-promoting Freddy, (Krueger, that is. Oh jeez, I hate having to make that specification) and I am a huge fan of the genre anyway, paying a bit of homage never hurt. It's also my favorite horror movie poster, so that's a bonus.

Re: Y'know, I actually design a couple of guys like that. I agree that it's much more efficient, but y'know, perfectionist syndrome.
Also, I love your character designs and backstrories immeasurably, so your mental gymnastics were not wasted in the least.
