"Griantarus" is the star that created this meganova. The super large red giant had reached its last fusion stage. Then once the iron took over. The star couldn't fuse anymore matter into fuel. So the star blew up. Then a couple of years later the mass of the neutron star had increased its schwartzchild radius at an incredible speed. Crushing itself into a forever dense "Void" in space.
