When he did her brother would beat her up. Yelling that it was her fault that the family was broken. That he wished she'd never been born.
Her father never acknowledged her. Just ignored her and called her 'it'.
Her mother did her best to comfort her and keep the family together... and suffered much.
But when Ruff was ten years old her father and BoneBreaker, her brother, finally did leave.
Her mother broke mentally. Blacking out into fits of violence.
She'd blamed Ruff for the split then the next second cry on her, then the next lock her in her room.
Ruff tried to run away several times, and even break her wings. But never did.
She stayed with her unstable mother until she hated her.
At fourteen she ran away for good... now at twenty she feels like she's still running...
