I'mma start it like this...

Heather was preparing herself for bed. She wasn't all to happy with losing the million to the mutant formerly known as Zeke. Just the thought of it angered her.

"Ugh! I was so close! The mill was in the palm of my hand, but now it's gone...."

Suddenly, she felt a deeper pain. A pain she has never felt before. She looked in her bathroom mirror and felt her heart hurting her slightly.
"But....I....I didn't know that....I could be so cruel until I.....*sniffs* caused him the worst pain he could have possibly felt..."

She's wiping her face. Rethinking her interactions with the only guy she was thrown for a loop by....Alejandro.
"Why me? Why was he so interested in me? He was so tactical and used everyone for his own potential gain. Did he really feel something like he said?"
She begans to walk back to her room and paces back and forth.
"I mean...he is a jerk....*looks up and smiles slightly* A handsome jerk...but...*starts to look down*
(continues)

"He did not deserve to be burned to a crisp and practically trampled to death. No one deserves that......especially him..." *starts to cry a little*

She looks at the phone number he gave her before the season ended.
"If I call him, he'll never respond.....after something as horrible as that, he'll hate me for sure. Despise me....*wipes away some more tears* All I hope is that he is alright and.....*sniffs* If we ever meet again.....I will tell him how sorry I am. An apology will not fix what happened, but maybe....just maybe....he will forgive me...."

She places Alejandro's number on one of her award stands and goes to her bed.

*sighs* "I'm.....I'm sorry...."

She wraps herself in her blankets and attempts to sleep, although for her, it was much easier said than done. Tears continued to trickle down her cheeks, but in her heart, she will have hope for seeing him again and maybe....just maybe....become something more....
