These three break some very specific rules I have set up in my head for when I'm making characters, these rules being: logical (enough) anatomy, no bad cliches and Ruby.

Sherbert, anatomy: Her arms... they go to nowhere, they appear from nowhere, they're noodles and she has no shouldes.
Jack, cliches: He's a short angry guy that people fear.
Ruby, Ruby: Ruby... what about her makes sense.
