These guys are the reason I made Aletar more mammalian! I just wanted something more colorful, but still just as birdy as the Aletar. Also, yeah they look really similar. Convergent evolution? My lack of creativity? Either is a good excuse.
They live on a continent separate from the Aletar, separated by thousands of ocean miles. And neither of these species are avid boat-makers, so they never really meet.

These dudes look so epic!! It's a smart idea to base these species on birds - that way, you can have a vast variety of color and design!
