A calender event. Being my birth month figured I'd try something new. Pick one day and give me either a species of mine you'd want, or a type of animal, or mythical creature, or humanoids. (Ex. Human with traits & parts of any animal you want.) And lastly give me one or two of your favorite color(s). These won't necessarily be christmas themed but you can ask them to be if you want it. Also the colors mean absolutely nothing. I just wanted to make it colorful ^^ Hopefully this takes well....

The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Not evil but edgy?
Would you like something in return?

Ooh, I'd love a humanoid from you! Day 3 please! I'm gonna quickly dig through your gallery to figure out what kind of humanoid I'd want.

Okay I think I've got something. Do you think you could do a female emo demon/fallen angel character? Not too emo or I'll spook my followers, but definitely include the cute goth clothing. Maybe the wings could be dragon-like and a little corrupted-looking at the base, kinda like the characters in your "Just Like You" painting.
As for colors, black and white with a little bit of red.
If I'm being to specific, then don't be obligated to do my request. I won't be hurt. ;)

Re: I hope you'll get lots of people. I know what it's like to try starting something and it ends horribly. It's taken me four years and 800 followers to actually be able to host an activity that attracted lots of people. xP

One thing that's important in getting people to view your posts is making the thumbnail look nice. If it doesn't look promising, people won't even bother to take the time to click on it. It's not too easy to make the thumbnail look attractive, unfortunately - the painting needs to have colors that work together, shapes and creatures that are correctly proportioned, and often lots of detail. But for announcements, you'll want large, bold text that announces something interesting, like "Calendar Adopts!" Most people love adopts, so they'll be more prone to viewing it.
