He is one of the two surviving friends of Asken. He took the others death in a different way. Rather than falling sick and almost dying or getting dark-eye disorder he took it like a bullet to the chest and locked himself away.Xiergo, the GOD of Kirubi took this badly as they had never planned for the deaths to hit any of them that hard, especially Nerrka,the innocent kid Nerrka. So, at her own risk she attempted to comfort him, even if mortals cannot see her, she tried. But as is the way of the world, getting touched by a God can leave serious effects on the person. Optic Xierox Disorder. A disorder that causes "X's" to form in the whites of the eye and can cause amnesia, hallucinations and most commonly insomnia.
Nerrka is a really just a funny guy with a big sense of humour (even if some of his jokes lean on the dirtier side) and a big heart.He's very caring and kind and will never stop trying to make others happy.
On the "Asking Waves" he is mainly the fisher of the group and is always got an eye out for danger and despite his almost constant childish behaviour when push comes to shove he can be the most serious of the group.
He has a very close relationship with Asksen and has said that he has had nightmares about the hurricane and has woke up crying because in that dream Asken died.
The bandage on his right arm is holding a wound that he won't tell anyone about.He claims that it's just a cut.
