Collin: What? No, I was in a photo shoot.

Alan: Photo shoot? For what, a costume shop ad?

Alan is actually fine being seen without his hat. It’s his tie that he is a bit more attached to. Also, I realize that it hasn’t come up much recently, but Alan does consider himself to be a detective. However, he does have a tendency to jump from one hobby to another. Detective is more or less his “default mode”.

I think at this point, I’m just going to say the series is open for questions until I say otherwise. I actually find this mini-series to be rather entertaining to create. ^ ^
