Asken: *is sat on a bench on a docks staring off at the waves, humming a tune softly to himself*

Scarlett:*Casually walking around in the ocean, the waves acting like an amnesia, clearing her mind of all of the bad things going on in the world*

Asken: *he seems to be lost in a daze, the constant bobbing of the waves making his head spin and his limb feel light, his looked pale and his eyes began to droop*

Scarlett:*becomes completely unaware of her surroundings, then trips over**she starts to scream,she was too far out* SOMEBODY! HELP ME!*starts to choke on the water*

Asken: *suddenly jerks up and looks around frantically* wh-What!? *spots her* oh come on, why do i always have to be the life guard around here? *starts to run out towards her*

Scarlett:*begins to zone out, then sees someone running towards her*

Asken: *picks her up aggressively by the arm* you walk out to far you drown. Got it? *his words cut through the sound of crashing waves like a sharpened knife, he seems quiet angry but has some form of calm sympathy for the girl in front of him*

Scarlett: I-I'm sorry, I completely lost touch with my
brain, I was distracted by the waves...*she looks like shes about to cry*

Asken: you get used to it when you spend your life living by or on sea! But that's a lie.. I was lost in a trance just a moment ago before you started screaming! So don't cry! I know exactly how you feel!

Scarlett: Oh yeah, i absolutely forgot, my sincere apologies, I'm Scarlett, may i ask your name?

Asken: the name's Asken! Some used to call me the child of the sea! Pleasure to meet you! *puts his hand out for a shake*

Scarlett: *softly places her hand in his and shakes is hand* NIce to meet you Asken!

Asken: *gives a firm shake and a warm smile and sighs happily to himself* well. I should head back to the docks! Nerrka and Verso'll kill me if I don't get back before 5 and it's already 4:32.. so.. it was nice to meet you Scarlett!.. *turns away* unless.. you wanna come help us..?

Scarlett: It depends what you need help with, but I would be happy to help!

Asken: well me an' my friends own a large boat you see and we're currently getting 'em ready for another voyage! We're cleaning out things an' getting new sails put up! It'd be nice to have an extra pare of hands on deck to get everything ready!

Scarlett: In that case, I would LOVE to help out! Seems like fun!

Asken: well come on then! The guys'll kill me if I'm late! An that's no figure of speech.. *starts to walk towards the shore and the docks*

Scarlett: *walks by the side of Asken and realises something* Im sorry, but I forgot to say thank you for saving my life earlier..

Asken: it's ok! I'm always got an eye out to help others!

*they get to a large boat with "Asking Waves" written on the side and Two young adults with similar outfits to Asken on walk to the edge, one with brown gingerish hair and another with darker brown hair*

???: On time I see.. what's gotten in to you Asken? *says the one with gingerish hair*

??: And who's this new friend a' yours?

Scarlett: *seems slightly nervous* I-I'm S-Scarlett, and Asken just saved my life!

???: ooh~! Your off saving damsels in distress again aren'tchya?

Asked: -!! NERRKA!!

Nerrka: Oh, I'm only teasing!

??: you two, stop playing about, we've got work to do. "Our Asking Waves won't answer themselves". Isn't that what you said Asken? So let's stick to that and get cleaning!

Asken: Verso. I thought I was the captain.

Verso: you won't be if you don't act like one so get your sorry arse up here and gimme a hand!

Scarlett: So, what shall I do?

Verso: well if Ya wanna be any help I suggest helping Nerrka clean out the nets and set up our supplies and sleeping bay. Asken and I'll be working in the captain's lodge and in the crows nest if you need anything!
