-INTRO-

Despite it still being early in the morning, the sky is filled with dark clouds, blocking the sun. Looking like a storm will start with the absence of rain, lightning and wind. Everything is silent save for the working crew and the creak of the ship as it slowly rocks in the calm waters. Mist was slowly coming in to surround the ship, preventing even the finest of eyesight to see through. Everything felt wrong as the ship sailed through the mist, the deafening silence feels overhwelming and only serves to perturb everyone on the ship. Hackles are raised amongst superstitious crewmembers, feelimg as though something horrible from the other side will soon appear.

"...Lost, if you spot anything wrong, make sure to warn me!" he shouts up to the crow's nest where El Fantasma's lookout was.

Grape: *walks outside to the deck from below & looks around at the strange fog. Go's up to Alastor & tugs on his coat* what can I do captin?

Alastor pursed his lips, he sweeps his eyes around the ship-mentally counting the present members above the ship.
"I'm getting a bad feeling...Kai,is the compass working?"

Hidayat was one of the weary members of the storm and fog surrounding tthe ship, caution filling most of his thoughts as he helped with what he could. There could be many reasons why the weather was this way, but it had a...strange feeling to it nonetheless.

Kai has his eyes directed at his map, walking toward the lookouts post to speak with him. He couldn't see anything through the thick fog and needed to communicate. Not seeing either grape or Alastor, he tripped over the small child and ran into his captain. He landed face first.

The small navigator pushed himself up with one arm off of the floor and sat up. He shoved his hand into his pocket and took a look at the compass. It didn't work. The arrow twitched and repeatedly went from south, to east, to north, and to west uncontrollably. Kai swallowed nervously and looked up at his captain. "U uh. No captain. Not at all" he stuttered.

Alastor also looks down at the compass, his face scrunched up as if he swallowed something bitter.
"..this is getting suspicious...I'm getting the feeling that we just stumbled through an area where the spirit world and reality clashes..." he mumbles to no one in particular.

Alastor observes the flames, he frowns as he looks down next to him where Momo sat up alert.
"Momo..what do you think..?" the creature slowly shake it's head.
"I'm unsure...It feels like the spirit world but the same time it's not...I don't like this...we have to turn ba-" Momo was suddenly cut off as the Ship suddenly shook. Alastor stumbles on his feet as he looks around in a surprise.

Grape falls on their face from the ship shaking

"Captaaaaiin" Kai said nervously as his voice vibrated with the shaking of the ship. He gave Alastor a worried stare. "What's going on??"

Kiro was in her makeshift workshop, when the ship shook "HOLY BAGEEZUS WT.F WAS THAT?!?!?" The Blacksmith yelled

As Alastor bears his footing he quickly scans the top deck.
"Is everyone alright?!" he shouts then looks up to the crow's nest.
"Lost! did you see what it was?"

The scholar fell against his desk with a cry, quickly shooting up and shifting to his bird form. He squawked as he flew out to the deck.

"This is not just me being worried Grape, this is also an order from your Captain" he says firmly. "Please Grape.." he asks in a softer tone.
"As for anyone else that is hurt, make sure to get checked by Alabaster!" He pauses as the fog slowly clears up. His feeling of hope was then pushed down by dread at what he sees. Around them were shipwrecks, rotting with age and devoid of life. The water around them is littered with rotting wood or long stray sea weed. Just beyond their ship was an island.

Kai nodded at Alastor and held his hand out for grape. "Come on young one we need to check anyway. " he kneeled down and smiled a little, "I'll sneak ya something from the kitchen if ya come with me" he whispered. @random

Alastor slowly nodded his head in confirmation.
"Sadly I do..." He confirms then looks down as Momo paws on his leg.

"Alastor I don't like this, turn around" it was the second time Alastor had seen Momo looked so distressed. He nodded his head as he carefully picks up the shaking creature and laid them on his shoulder.
"Everyone, we're turning back!" He hollers out with a loud strong voice, wanting to make his crew feel at ease. He carefully turns the wheel, navigating around a large shipwreck. When he was successful, the ship was now going in the opposite direction.
"Will someone also make sure there is no damage on the ship from earliers shaking?"

"I don't like the looks of this area either.." Kai mumbled to grape. He approached Alabastor, glancing behind himself quickly and then sighing. "Kid fell face first to the ground. He has a bloody nose. Capt just wants to make sure he's okay" Kai said quietly.

"Captain how will we get back without the compass?!" Kai asked in panic. "How will we know the direction?!" He shouted out to Alastor the minute he heard him speak.

He simply nodded and listened to Alastor, his eyebrows furrowed as he thought of whatccould be going on.

Alastor could only sigh.
"For now..we just have to trust our instinct!" He shouts back to Kai. A few minutes have passed and the ship wreck and the island have disappeared from their view. The most did not return but the sky was still covered with gloomy clouds.
"This feels too wrong.." He mumbles to himself. His eyes suddenly widens whilst dread filled up. In front of them was once again the ship wreck and the empty island.
"...."

//Lost notcied the islands appearance once again in front of them even after their turn of the ship and drooped his ears looking confused and slightly nervous
"The hell...?"

Kiro heard the captains shout that they were turning around. She tried to get up but a pain from her thigh prevented her. "Ow" Kiro noticed a knife in her leg. "Damn it. ALABASTER!"

Looking lost, Alastor calls for the anchor to be dropped.
"What the hell's going on..." He mutters quietly under his breath as he walks up all the way to the other to take a closer look. As he walks, the ship shook once again, this time violently. Alastor stumbles back as the shaking turned into long and violent rocking. He clutched onto one of the ropes as he look on in surprise

The ship continues to rock from side to side, he carefully looksover the water and sees large shadows that looked like tendrils
"what the he-" he was once again cut off as the ship suddenly turned over to the side. Alastor hits his head hard on a pole, effectively knocking him out. But before he blacks out, he saw a glimpse of those tendrils.

Alastor's head hurts and his body felt wet from head to toe. He was lying on something rough and rocky, it hurts the side of his face. His face scrunched in pain as he slowly opens his eyes. He sees rocks, lots and lots of rocks. He pushes himself up and looks around, the first thing he sees was his ship washed up on the shore of the island. It looked fine, nothing seemed to be broken save for the noticeable dent on the metal side of the ship.

He slowly sat up and winced when he did, holding the side of his head. He noticed Lost beside him and stiffened, growing worried,"..Lost?"

Kai started to form a small smile onto his face but was interrupted by another rough cough. It was difficult not to blink. Each time he did it hurt like hell. Kai tried to stand up to head toward his blurry captain but stumbled and fell. "Ca Captain!" He called back

Alastor gently sets Grape down on the dry part of the ground. He steps inside the mud carefully and picks Kai up to his feet.

"Be careful now," he says gently as he dusted easily lifted the other out of the mud.

"Snap out out of it child!" It growls as it bit on Grape's hand to snap them out of their trance.

Momo jumps off of Grape, not at all affected of the others' wailing. Alastor quickly runs up Grape and held their shoulder firmly as he shushes them softly.
"Ssh..shhh...hey don't cry, it's not your fault at all..here, take my hand, don't let go until I say so alright..?" He gently asks the crying child as he wipes away their tears.
"You didn't have to bite Grape Momo, that's really rude of you," the creature huffs as he walks to where Kai was.
"My bite wasn't that deep..besides...the real problem here is this island.."
